Where is Kashishima? What prefecture is it in?

Kashijima is located in Ago-cho, ShimaCity City, Mie Prefecture. It is an inhabited island with a circumference of 7.3km in Ago Bay, and was the site of IseShimaSummit in 2016.
There are accommodation facilities and Kashijima Port on the island, and the Kintetsu Shima Line runs to Kashijima Station, the southernmost station on the Kintetsu line.

Kashiwajima is dotted with many scenic spots. The sunset view of the rafts floating in Ago Bay and the cove dyed red is a spectacular view that can be seen from the Kashishima Ohashi Bridge, and has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 sunset views.
The unique scenery created by the ria coastline seen from the pleasure boat is also worth seeing.
