What is Forest Adventure Yunoyama?

"Double Zip Slide" allows you to hold hands and enjoy the zip slide! Among the forest adventures all over the country, Mie Prefecture is the only one where you can hold hands and zip slide!

It is an irresistible experience for two people to be able to share the thrill of riding from a high place and the exhilaration of sliding all at once!

It's over 100m long, so you'll be able to see the ever-changing scenery while you're skating and arrive at the goal in no time.

Since the starting points are different, it is surprisingly difficult to join hands, but will you be able to succeed?

A thrilling and exciting experience is a must!

About fees and required time for each course

Forest Adventure Yunoyama has two courses. Here we will explain the outline, fees, and required time of each course!

Adventure course: 42 types of activities and 4 zip slides

At first, I was scared by the height and the smallness of the activity!

There's nothing to be scared of because the safety measures I'll explain later are in place (sweat).

As we grow older, we become afraid of heights.

Don't give in to that fear! Let's conquer the activities!

[Usage fee]

・Flat rate for adults and children: 3,800 yen/person

[Terms of use]

・Above 4th grade of elementary school, height 140cm or above, weight up to 110kg
・For junior high school students and under, please participate with a guardian over 18 years old.
- For high school students, parental participation is not required, but supervision from the ground is required.
・Each parent can bring up to 3 children.

[Time required]

・1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours

Zip Trip Course: An easy course that even small children can enjoy

This course mainly consists of zip slides, and is recommended for those who are concerned about heights!

You can also experience the double zip slide on this course!

[Terms of use]

・Height 110cm or more, weight up to 110kg
・For children up to 3rd grade of elementary school, please participate with a guardian over 18 years old.
・Parent participation is not required for children in 4th grade and above, but supervision from the ground is required.
・Each parent can bring up to 3 children.

[Time required]

・30 to 40 minutes

Forest Adventure Safety Measures

It is important to have the mindset to protect yourself

The instructor will carefully and securely attach the harness that wraps around your body, so even beginners can play with confidence.

Before playing on the course, the instructor will teach you how to use the equipment.

To make sure it doesn't fall, we use three tools: a harness, a pulley, and a carabiner.

First, they will carefully teach you how to use it and give you a little practice, but don't let your guard down!

We value that our customers can enjoy themselves, so the instructor will not accompany you at all times!

While on the tree, learn how to use tools and precautions so you can protect yourself!

The top of the photo is the "pulley" and the bottom is the "harness."

A pulley is a "pulley" that is used to slide a wire that has been laid in advance, as shown in the photo, and cannot be removed from the beginning to the end of each course.

A harness is a lifeline-like tool that is wrapped around the entire body, and is used when working at heights such as steel towers or construction sites.

These two are connected, and we use a "pulley" that cannot be removed, and a "harness" that wraps around the whole body, making it perfect for safety so that it will never fall!

About belongings and clothes

Recommended things to bring and wear

Outerwear: Clothes that don't expose much skin and are easy to move in (clothes that you don't mind getting dirty)

Pants: Required as a harness will be attached
*Skirts not allowed

Shoes: Athletic shoes are recommended (climbing shoes are also recommended in cold weather)
*Sandals, shoes without heels, Crocs, and other shoes that expose skin are not allowed.

Gloves: required

Please keep your luggage to a minimum and store it in the luggage storage area.

Please put your wallet, smartphone, etc. in a locked valuables box (free of charge).

It is OK to bring smartphones, action cameras, etc. to the course.

You can borrow a porch for free, so you don't have to worry about it getting dirty.

Rental items such as colorful jumpsuits are also available.

I tried the adventure course

The adventure course is divided into four sites, and you can climb through the activities and zip down to the next site.

The first attraction has many activities with little shaking and easy balance, and is designed to be a challenge even for people who are new to the experience and don't know how pulleys or harnesses feel.

The Tarzan swing in the middle of the site literally swings like Tarzan and dives into the net!

Falling down on your own like a bungee jump and handling the rope like Tarzan is a feeling you can't get on a roller coaster...

The sunlight, the feeling of the wind, the sound of birds, the feeling of tension, the courage to not give in to yourself...

It's a feeling you can only experience with a forest adventure!

The site is getting more and more difficult!

The wall at the end will shake! It's hard to grasp! So it's going to be a ten-tekomai!

In the bouldering world, there are two things called "gaba" and "kachi", so if you are an advanced player, please try using "kachi"!

Only here in Mie Prefecture! zip trip course

The zip trip course is divided into two sites, and after completing two or three activities, you go through a zip slide and head to the next site.

This course is aimed at small children and zip slides, and at the end you can experience Mie Prefecture's only double zip slide!

About the reservation method

Advance reservations are recommended for the adventure course as there is a limit to the number of people who can experience it at one time.

Reservations can be made online or by phone (059-340-7739). It is convenient to make online reservations through the official website, which allows you to make reservations up to two months in advance.

I checked with the staff to see if they had any free time slots...

Busy times and reception hours vary depending on the season and day of the week, so it's best to check the reservation status before making a reservation!

It takes about 60 minutes to get to Yunoyama-Onsen Station from Kintetsu's Nagoya Station or Tsu Station, and about 30 minutes from Yokkaichi Station.
