After the plum and weeping plum season, Kawazu cherry blossoms and Someiyoshino cherry trees will bloom!
At Nabananosato, we hold the Plum and Cherry Blossom Festivals, which are perfect for early spring. Along with the "Illuminations" being held at the same time, you can enjoy both the beautiful flowers during the day and the illuminations at night. Cherry blossoms at Tsukairaku Park (TsuCity)

Tsukairaku Park used to be called ``Mizansoyama'' and began when Takayuki Todo, the 11th lord of the Tsu domain, ran a villa there during the Ansei era. Currently, it is affectionately known as "Tsu Park" and is a place of relaxation for citizens.
Approximately 1,000 cherry blossom trees decorate the Japanese garden-like grounds, and purple azaleas bloom from mid-April, drawing crowds of people every April and May.

The best time to see the cherry blossoms is about 10 days later than the Somei Yoshino cherry trees, and because there is a difference in elevation, you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing for a long period of time from the beginning of bloom to the cherry blossoms in their leaves.

A row of cherry blossom trees stretches for 600 meters along the road in Nabari Central Park, making it a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing in spring.
On the day of the event, there will be mock stalls with tents and kitchen trucks, and stage events such as dance and song shows. In addition, we will secure cherry blossom viewing space by implementing a pedestrian zone and setting up night cherry blossom viewing spots by installing paper lanterns.

Kumano-zakuracherrytree is a new species of cherry tree discovered for the first time in about 100 years. It blooms earlier than Sakiyamazakura and Someiyoshino, and the best time to see it is generally from February to March.
It grows wild in the mountainous areas of the southern half of the Kii Peninsula.

Ryūōzakura at Chotokuji Temple (TsuCity)

This cherry tree, called Ryuozakura, is also called ``Fugenzakura'' or ``Fugenzou'' and is a rare type of cherry tree that blooms and leaves at the same time, and is designated as a natural monument of Mie Prefecture. Every year, the cherry blossoms start blooming about a week later than other cherry blossoms (such as Somei Yoshino).
