InabeCity Agricultural Park (InabeCity)

InabeCity Agricultural Park

<Inabe Plum Festival>
Held every March at Bairin Park. The plum grove with about 4,000 trees of 100 varieties is a sight to behold!

<Inabe Botan Festival>
Held every year during Golden Week from April to May. 5,000 peonies of 35 different types bloom throughout the park, making it one of the largest in the Tokai area.

<Plum picking experience>
Held every year in late June at Bairin Park. Customers will be asked to harvest plum blossoms that are ripening.

Peach blossoms, cherry blossoms, forsythia, snow willow, cornelian cornflower, azalea, hydrangea, wisteria, japonica, etc.

Manyo no Sato Park (InabeCity)

It is famous as a famous spot for hydrangeas, and in mid-June, 5,000 hydrangeas are in full bloom.

Of the 150 types of plants mentioned in the Manyoshu, 140 types of plants were transplanted to the park surrounding the civic center. The original song sung about the plant is displayed on a sign.

Nanbu Kyuryo Park (YokkaichiCity)

Kimigano Dam Park (TsuCity)

You can enjoy the scenery of each season: cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, red leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter. Especially in spring, the sight of the cherry blossoms and fountains reflected in the dam lake is a sight to behold. 1500 cherry blossom trees in spring. In autumn, the dam lake is decorated with autumn leaves.

Suzuka Flower Park (SuzukaCity)

Seasonal flowers bloom in vivid colors, and there are facilities such as fountains, flower hills, cherry blossom plazas, and open field plazas.
There is also a large complex play equipment that combines 24 types of equipment such as roller slides, mountain roads, and net domes, which is popular with many people.

Kameyama Park (KameyamaCity)

A castle ruins park in KameyamaCity with a hydrangea and irises garden. This is where the villa of the feudal lord of Kameyama Castle once stood, and the stone walls and moat remain.

Approximately 12,000 flower irises of about 100 types are planted in the 4,000 square meter flower garden.

MiyaRiverWataraiPark (Watarai Town, WataraiTown)

In spring, cherry blossoms bloom, and blue and purple hydrangeas bloom along the paths within the park.

The park, which has a total area of 12 hectares, includes a bright green lawn, a putting golf course, tennis courts, a children's play area with lots of fun play equipment, and a ``mirror pool'' with water slides.

Yono Park (IgaCity)

This azalea kachiji in IgaCity covers an area of approximately 8 hectares, and azaleas bloom profusely in May. The vast lawn area of approximately 2 hectares is a place for recreation, and many people come for hiking as it serves as a base for the Tokai Nature Trail.

Owase Ozoneura Park "The World's Camellia Garden" (OwaseCity)

A total of 753 types of camellia, 544 domestic and 187 foreign, and approximately 2,500 bush camellias, the city's flower, have been planted.

Located on a hill in the Ozone area, it is a great spot with great views of Owase Bay and the islands.

You can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring, green cedars and ferns in summer, and autumn leaves of maples in autumn.

ZuikenKawamura Park (Minamiise Town MinamiiseTown)

Around mid-February, around 40 Kawazu cherry trees are in full bloom under Zuiken Park along National Route 260, and the area is crowded with cherry blossom viewing visitors and photographers. Over a dozen white-eyes gather at Kawazu-zakura to suck the nectar from the flowers, making the park a lively place.

500 plum trees of 45 varieties bloom from early February to late March. Varieties include ``Kankobai'', ``Michishirube'', ``Shirakaga'', and ``Kagoshima Kobai''.

<Wisteria Festival>
1,800 wisteria trees of 10 types bloom from late April to early May. Varieties include ``Shirako Hitanfuji'', ``Shikohitanfuji'', ``Kenfuji'', ``Lipstick Fuji'', ``Rokushakufuji'', and ``Kuzakufuji''.

<Hydrangea Festival>
77,700 plants of 29 types change color from early June to late July. Varieties include ``Ao Temari'', ``White Temari'', ``Pink Temari'', ``Sumida no Hanabi'', ``Sky Blue'', ``Marine Blue'', etc.

Suzuka Forest Garden (SuzukaCity)

This is a weeping plum research farm run by Akatsuka Botanical Garden, and is open to the public from mid-February to late March every year.

Over the years, approximately 200 famous weeping plum trees have been collected from all over Japan, mainly for kimono (Kureha weeping), with the aim of continuing and popularizing the weeping plum tailoring technique.

The magnificent plum trees, including Ten no Dragon, which is estimated to be over 100 years old and is thought to be Japan's oldest tree, are worth seeing. In addition to kofuku weeping, you can enjoy many varieties such as Yaekanbai, wisteria peony weeping, Kagoshima beni, and ``Omimamama'', which has red and white flowers.

Moroto Garden (KuwanaCity)

There is a garden on the grounds of Moroto Seibun, where you can enjoy irises and wisteria in the spring and autumn leaves in the fall. In order to make the garden left by the founder Seiroku Moroto widely available, the approximately 10,000 square meter garden is opened twice a year, in spring and autumn.

Matsusaka Park (Matsuzaka Castle Ruins) (MatsusakaCity)

This park was built on the ruins of Matsuzaka Castle, where cherry blossoms bloom in spring and countless wisteria trees bloom on the wisteria trellis in May. Wisteria is an old tree that is over 300 years old, and when it is at its peak, it has hanging clusters that are over 60 centimeters long.

In addition to MotooriNorinaga Memorial Museum and the History and Folklore Museum within the park, there is also GojobanYashiki nearby, where you can feel the history.

KyukaPark (KuwanaCity)

This park uses the Honmaru and Ninomaru ruins of the Kuwana Castle ruins, and is approximately 7.2ha in area.
The park holds cherry blossom festivals in April, azaleas in May, and irises festivals in June.

Matsusaka Agricultural Park BellFarm (MatsusakaCity)

An agricultural park with a vast area of 23ha. It consists of nine areas, including the English Garden, Rose Garden, and Herb Garden, where various flowers bloom throughout the four seasons, and you can enjoy a different look in each area.

Lake Shikujo/Lake Shikujo Fureai Park (TsuCity)

It is a beautiful lake at the source of the Anogawa River, and about 800 cherry trees bloom in spring. There are parks in the surrounding area, and there are tennis courts at Fureai Park near Shikujokosuiso. When the water level drops, a stone daruma appears from the surface of the lake, giving it a humorous look.

MihamaTown Teratani General Park (Mihama Town, MihamaTown)

Water lilies are planted in the scenic pond in the park, and from May to early September, beautiful water lily flowers bloom all over the pond, delighting visitors.

Located in the center of MihamaTown, this is a comprehensive park with a playing field, tennis courts, and more. There is a promenade along the ridge of the park, and the view of the Pacific Ocean and Kishu mountains from the observation deck is spectacular.

Nohara Rural Park (Taiki Town, TaikiTown)

It is full of flower highlights such as the 60m long wisteria trellis, rhododendrons, and cherry blossoms. There are also play equipment such as slides and jungle gyms, making it perfect for families!
The wisteria festival is held every year in early May.

Sakura no Sato Park (Odai Town, OdaiTown)

A park with beautiful cherry blossoms nestled in the middle reaches of the Miyagawa River.
In spring, the cherry blossoms are reflected in the lake, creating a magical scenery. It is a beautiful place with a beautiful contrast between the blue water surface and the cherry blossoms.

Showa Kofukumura Park (YokkaichiCity)

Lake water flows through the forest of this scenic park at the foot of Mt. Suzuka, and rows of plum and cherry trees surround the pond, and in early spring red plum blossoms decorate the waterfront.

Boats float on the pond, and viewing the plum blossoms from the boat is a great experience. It is a famous flower spot in the city and is perfect for families and excursions.
