AoyamaPlateau Aoyama Kogen
Located in the center of Murou Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park, you can enjoy all seasons on the gently rolling plateau. In spring, clusters of Japanese azaleas and rhododendrons are in full bloom, followed by small red flowers of dianthus, in autumn the white spikes of pampas grass are waving, and in winter, the frost-covered trees are beautiful.
You can enjoy a 12 km drive through the plateau from Mt. Kasatori at the northern tip of the plateau to Aoyama Pass. Dozens of windmills have been built near the top, making it a large-scale wind power generation facility. You can get up close to the wind power generation facility, and it is a must-see as it is very impressive!
