Cosmos blooming beautifully in the refreshing autumn breeze. Among Mie's cosmos fields, which are at their best when the heat subsides, I would like to introduce seven spots that I have visited so far and that I highly recommend!

Let's go to the cosmos fields this fall!
Cosmos are autumn flowers that are at their best when the heat subsides and you feel the breeze.
Cosmos are a seasonal feature of autumn, and they are beautiful when blooming in gardens or around town, but the spectacular cosmos fields that cover the entire field are truly a spectacular autumn sight!
This time, I have selected seven cosmos fields in Mie that you absolutely want to visit, based on my sole discretion as a "Mie Travel Ambassador"!
For those who are wondering, "Which cosmos field should I go to?", we will also introduce the charm and characteristics of each spot, so please read until the end!
Cosmos field in ASPIATamaki
The first place we'd like to introduce to you is the cosmos field at ASPIATamaki, a natural facility in Tamaki-TamakiTown, Watarai-gun that combines a hot spring, a direct farm market, and a park.
At ASPIATamaki, cosmos blooms fill a vast field of approximately 20 are.
The best time to see them is usually from mid-October to November.
The characteristics of this cosmos field are the white swings and cute character objects that appear inside the cosmos field.
The white wooden swings are especially popular, and on sunny days it's crowded with people sitting on the swings and taking photos.
Another nice feature is that inside ASPIATamaki 's cosmos fields, there are paths made of metal scaffolding to make it easier to walk through the fields!
You can easily take photos that look like they are buried in cosmos, so it is also recommended for those who want to take cute photos of cosmos and people together!
In fact, I went to ASPIATamaki 's cosmos field without hesitation when an acquaintance asked me to take a family photo.

Cosmos field in Nabananosato
The next place we recommend is `` Nabananosato'' in KuwanaCity.
Nabananosato is famous as one of the largest flower theme parks in Japan, and the sight of approximately 1.5 million cosmos blooming in its vast 4.3-hectare flower plaza is truly spectacular.
The best time to see them is usually from late September to early November.
The charm of this cosmos field is that you can enjoy not only pink and white cosmos, but also the "Kibana cosmos", which has impressive orange flowers.
Although it is a popular spot, the flower garden is vast, so you can enjoy the cosmos in your favorite spot without having to crowd with other visitors.
In addition, the flower plaza where cosmos are in full bloom is lit up from sunset until the park closes, making it an attractive cosmos field even at night!
The approximately 8,000 dahlias that bloom surrounding the cosmos in the "Flower Plaza" are also at their peak at the same time, and a rose festival is held in the rose garden in the Begonia Garden, so you can enjoy autumn flowers to your heart's content at Nabananosato You can do it.

Cosmos field at ShimaCity Tourist Farm
Next, we will introduce" ShimaCity Tourist Farm" located in ShimaCity.
ShimaCity Tourist Farm is famous for its sunflowers in the summer, but in the fall it is brightly colored with about 30,000 to 40,000 cosmos plants.
Red, pink, and white cosmos are at their best from around mid-October to early November every year.
This cosmos field is characterized by a cosmos field that stretches along the slope of a gentle hill.
Additionally, there is a wide walkway lined with anti-weed sheets running through the center of the cosmos field, making it very easy to walk around.
ShimaCity Tourist Farm is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., so please be aware that it closes earlier than other cosmos fields.
Cosmos bloom in the same place as summer sunflower fields, so if you're lucky you might be able to see sunflowers and cosmos together! ?
Since this year, kochia has been planted all over the slope next to the cosmos field, making it a luxurious spot where you can enjoy the red leaves of kochia and cosmos together!

Kazushi Totome no Sato’s cosmos field
Next up is the cosmos field at Totome no Sato Kazushi, a health and welfare multipurpose facility in Kazushi-cho TsuCity.
This cosmos field has been managed by a local community group for over 20 years using a large field, and the best time to see it is usually from mid-October to early November.
When you head towards the cosmos field from the parking lot of Kazushi Totome no Sato, which is located on a hill, you will see a colorful cosmos field spreading out below you.
The vivid panoramic view from the top is breathtaking, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery all the way down to the cosmos fields.
Furthermore, as the best time to see the cosmos approaches, ``doors that will take you anywhere'' and face panels featuring popular characters will appear!
There were a number of ``doors that lead you anywhere'' that were very popular with families and couples as photogenic spots, and each door was crowded with people.

Cosmos field at saikuu ruins
You can enjoy cosmos in a different way than other cosmos at saikuu ruins cosmos field in Meiwa MeiwaTown.
The unique charm of this place is that you can enjoy the cosmos along with historical sites and trains running through it.
The cosmos fields at saikuu ruins are unique in that they appear all over the historic site, and you can enjoy cosmos in a variety of compositions.
In addition, Kintetsu's saikuu Station is adjacent to saikuu ruins, making it easily accessible by train.

Cosmos field of KomonoTown tabika
The next thing we will introduce is the cosmos field that spreads out in tabika district of KomonoTown!
Here, you can enjoy not only pink cosmos, but also rare cosmos such as white, yellow, and deep pink.
The cosmos here are planted using fallow fields, and the location of the cosmos fields changes depending on the year.
In 2023, it is likely that you will be able to see cosmos near KomonoTown Asagami District Community Center.
The children seemed to like the white cosmos and were busy taking pictures with their smartphones.
In 2022, when I took the photo, the cosmos were blooming until it got quite cold, and I was able to go see them together with Mizusawa Momiji Valley, a famous spot for autumn leaves nearby.

Cosmos field in Hoshiai Town, Matsusaka
The last thing I would like to introduce to you is the cosmos that blooms in a fallow field in Hoshiai-cho MatsusakaCity.
In 2022, when the photo was taken, there is also a part of the cosmos field where you can freely pick flowers, so you can not only see them but also experience picking them!
The children were very busy picking cosmos.
In 2023, sunflowers will be planted along with cosmos.
The best time to see them is expected to be from late October.
Every spot in Mie's cosmos fields has its own characteristics, and you can enjoy the charm of each spot!
