1. Roses [around May to June]

In the rose garden, there are about 400 species and 1,500 roses in total!

The Claude Monet variety is cute with pale pink and white around the flowers and orange in the center.

If you get as close as you can to the roses, you can capture the color gradation even more beautifully!

2. Hydrangea [around May to July]

 

Kazahaya no Sato

From late May to mid-July
Approximately 78,000 hydrangeas of 29 varieties are in full bloom!
The beauty of the planting, which takes advantage of the hilly environment, is such that it is said to be the most beautiful hydrangea garden in Japan.
Fun for the whole family, regardless of generation, from children to the elderly!
It's a "healing flowerscape" that you can't see in everyday life!

40,000 sunflowers are in full bloom in a field of about 20 are!
The diameter of the flower is about 15 to 20 cm, and the height is about 1.5 to 2.1 m.
This is a sunflower field managed by the agricultural direct sales store ``Furusato Aji Kobo Agri''.
The “white swing” for commemorative photos will look great in photos♪

5. Plum [around February to March]

From early March to late March
The 38-hectare Bairin Park, one of the largest in the Tokai area, includes a vast plum grove that focuses on real plums, a garden-style plum garden that focuses on flowering plums, and Kleingarden where you can experience farming!

In addition, the composting facility (with a built-up area of 1,560 square meters out of a total facility area of 6,400 square meters) aims to create a recycling-oriented society, and processes pruned branches and grass clippings generated from public roads and rivers.
It's a truly SDGs spectacular view ♪

Suzuka Forest Garden

From mid-February to late March
Open to the public for a limited time each year to coincide with the blooming of weeping plum trees!
At Suzuka Forest Garden, the sight of approximately 200 famous plum trees, mainly weeping plums, blooming with large pink flowers is a truly spectacular sight.

The Akatsuka Botanical Garden, which operates the garden, aims to preserve and spread the ``tailoring technique'' of weeping plums, which is one of Japan's traditional gardening culture, and focuses on the double-flowering variety of weeping plums, ``Kurehashidare.'' We are working on research cultivation.

At the Suzuka Forest Garden, where Japanese craftsmanship and history have been passed down, you can feel the beauty of Japan in early spring, colored by the majestic Suzuka Mountains.

6. Cherry blossoms [around March to April]

 

Cherry blossoms on Miyagawa bank

From late March to early April
The cherry blossoms along Miyagawa River have been popularly known as ``Sakura no Watari'' since the Edo period.
It has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots, and the row of cherry blossom trees along the river for about 1km is beautiful!
It has also been designated as kachiji by Mie Prefecture!

Mitaki cherry blossoms

From late March to early April

The 1.5km approach road from National Route 368 to the main gate of Shinpuku-in Temple is one of the best spots for wild cherry blossoms in the Tokai area, which was also featured in Umako-uta.
The row of approximately 500 cherry blossom trees has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots and a national scenic spot.
The cherry blossom festival is also held in April, and is crowded with tourists every year.
The reflection that can be seen early in the morning is very popular♪

Wisteria flowers have been loved by Japanese people since ancient times for their gentle fragrance and beautiful appearance, and many poems have been written about them in Japan's oldest extant collection of waka poems, Manyoshu.

In the wisteria garden, 22 famous wisteria trees that came all the way from the foot of Mt. Fuji are in full bloom!

In addition to colorful wisteria such as white, pink, and purple, you can also enjoy wisteria with rare golden leaves.

Matsusaka Park (Matsuzaka Castle Ruins)
