Sugawara Shrine
A shrine located on the border of SuzukaCity and YokkaichiCity, whose object of worship is a seated statue of Michizane Sugawara. It is also called ``Tenjin-san of Kokubun'' by the locals, and there is a plum grove of weeping plums on the premises, and many people visit during the season.
The wooden Tenjin statue, also known as the statue of Sugawara Michizane, has been designated as a tangible cultural property by the prefecture.
