On the way to Sakura no Sato Park via Prefectural Route 31 from the Odai Police Station area, there was a spot on the left hand side where many sunflowers were blooming! (Okuiseko Rowing Course)

Odai OdaiTownThe mountain trail closure will be lifted from Friday, September 8, 2023. An unexplored region remaining in the upper reaches of the Miyagawa River. The valley is filled with rapids, cliffs, and hundreds of waterfalls. Although it is a dense area of primeval forest, there are also walkways and suspension bridges. However, it is not possible to complete the entire course in a day, and the path is steep, so it is recommended for intermediate and advanced climbers. There are 7 waterfalls and 11 suspension bridges along the mountain trail, and the dynamic nature spreads out. It has been selected as one of Japan's three major valleys and one of Japan's top 100 unexplored regions. The mountain trail, which was closed due to the disaster in 2004, has been reopened and is now passable since the opening of the mountain in 2014.
