Symbol of husband and wife “Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) of Futamiokitama-JinjaShirine”

Also known as a power spot for marriage is the Meoto Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) of Futami Okitama Shrine, which is said to be a symbol of husband and wife.
In this place, Okitamajinseki, a sacred stone related to Sarutahiko Okami, known as the god of Michihiraki, is enshrined.
There used to be a custom of performing purification at Futamiokitama-JinjaShirine before visiting Ise, so even today many people still visit the shrine before visiting the shrine.
Another feature of this shrine is that there are many bronze statues of Futami frogs, known as the messengers of Sarutahiko Okami, in the precincts. If you don't like frogs, you may need to be a little careful! ?
