Highlights of Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival 2023

As mentioned earlier, approximately 10,000 fireworks are launched at the Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival. There are plenty of things to see, such as the ``2-shaku-dama launch'' where large flowers bloom on the 2-shaku-dama launch event.

A roaring sound and a large flower “2-shakudama launch”

A 2-shaku ball (size 20 ball) refers to a firework ball with a diameter of 2 shaku (approximately 60 cm). When launched, it will spread to a diameter of about 500 meters.

It is characterized by its dynamic appearance that envelops your eyes and the roar that makes the windows of nearby houses shake, and is often set off as the main feature of fireworks displays.

At the Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival venue, the audience seats are close to the launch site, so the two-shaku fireworks that fill the sky are truly impressive. Summer cannot start without fireworks in Kuwana!

Fireworks raining down "Aerial Niagara"

The finale of the Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival is the "Aerial Niagara." Let off countless fireworks at once and enjoy the afterglow. The stars from the fireworks will spread across the night sky like Niagara Falls. As I listen to the afterglow, I feel sad that this year's Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival is coming to an end, and my expectations for next year grow.

Random beat to the music! "Music Fireworks"

The timing of the launch is set by a computer, and various types of fireworks are launched in time with the music.

You can enjoy the collaboration between modern technology and traditional fireworks culture, including slow, grand music and up-tempo trendy music.

Will there be food stalls?

There will be food stalls at the 2023 Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival! At the east exit of Kuwana Station, the nearest station, and in front of the Sumiyoshiura rest facility near the venue, local restaurants will welcome you with food trucks and stalls. Please take this opportunity to enjoy KuwanaCity 's local gourmet food.

Please be sure to take your trash home with you.

Are there toilets at the venue?

Temporary toilets are installed at the venue, but the toilets get crowded every year as many people use them. We recommend that you use the public restrooms at the exit station or around the venue beforehand.
