Matsusaka Castle Ruins (Matsuzaka Park)

It is also famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring.

Hirayama Castle was built by Ujisato Gamo in 1588. The majestic stone walls, such as Nozurazumi, which still remain today, are a symbol of Matsusaka.

Cherry blossoms, wisteria, and ginkgo trees decorate the stone walls, making it popular with local residents throughout the year. From the castle ruins, you can see a panoramic view of the town that retains the vestiges of the castle town.

In February 2011, it was designated as a national historic site.

Among them, Wadakin 's signature dish is ``Sukiyaki''. The marbled meat with beautiful marbling has a flavor that melts on your tongue, and once you try it, you'll never forget it.

The residence of the wealthy merchant Ozu Seizaemon family, the largest paper wholesaler in Edo, has been opened to the public as a museum. Two storehouses remain inside the mansion, which is surprisingly spacious given its simple exterior with latticework and arches.

Among the exhibits, there is also a ``Manryobako'' instead of a ``Senryobako,'' which reminds us of the lifestyle of ``Ise merchants who owned stores in Edo.''
