Choonji Choonji
An old temple built in 840.
There is a Kannon-do hall in the precincts that enshrines three Sho Kannon Bodhisattvas, and it is rare that you can see Buddhist statues from the Heian, Kamakura, and Muromachi periods together.
The principal image is the Yakushi Ruriko Nyorai, which is said to have been created by Gyoki.
