Special feature on parks in MatsusakaCity!

There are a total of 7 popular parks, including Chubudai Sports Park, which has a wealth of athletic activities and was selected as one of Japan's 100 Best City Parks, and MatsusakaCity General Sports Park Skate Park, which also has a full-fledged competition area. Chubudai Sports Park (MatsusakaCity)

Chubudai Sports Park

A park selected as one of Japan's top 100 city parks.
There are plenty of exercise facilities such as a lawn square, baseball field, pool, and tennis court.
There is also playground equipment and athletics for children to play with, monkeys moved from Matsusaka Park live here, and a steam locomotive is on display in the parking lot.

Matsusaka Agricultural Park BellFarm (MatsusakaCity)

An agricultural park that opened on April 21, 2004 and has a vast site of approximately 23 hectares. There are plazas, ponds, farms, gardens, etc. where you can fully enjoy the nature of Matsusaka.
The main attraction is the English garden (approximately 1.4 hectares in area), which has a variety of faces throughout the four seasons.
It consists of nine areas, including the rose garden and herb garden, and you can enjoy a different look in each area. There is also a direct sales store selling local produce and a buffet restaurant.

Matsusaka Castle Ruins (Matsuzaka Park) (MatsusakaCity)

The ruins of a castle built by Ujisato Gamo in 1588. The proudly standing stone wall is a symbol of Matsusaka.
Cherry blossoms, wisteria, and ginkgo trees decorate the stone walls, making it popular with citizens throughout the seasons, and the castle ruins offer a panoramic view of the cityscape that still retains the vestiges of a castle town.

MatsusakaCity Sports Park Skate Park (MatsusakaCity)

This sports park is made up of three areas: a competition area that can hold international competitions, a pool area with a maximum depth of 2.3 meters, and a local area that even beginners can enjoy.

MatsusakaCity Forest Park (MatsusakaCity)

A natural park filled with the scent of trees. There is a log house-style dining room and bungalow, and you can enjoy barbecue and medicinal dishes on a jumbo iron plate with a diameter of 1.5 meters, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck. The area is crowded with people during the cherry blossom season. You can bring your own barbecue ingredients! You can make reservations in advance, so it's perfect for those who want to enjoy a barbecue without bringing anything.We also have a rental space for seven wheels!

Kanebo Ruins Park “Suzunomori Park” (MatsusakaCity)

This park used to be home to the Kanebo cotton yarn factory, which supported the local economy. This park was built on the site of a factory that closed in 1993 through collaboration between citizen groups and the government, based on the desire to create a park where everyone can have fun.
In the middle of the lawn square is the symbolic Zelkova tree, and the fountain that sprays water in three patterns is very popular with children.

Takarazuka Tumulus Park (MatsusakaCity)

A kofun park consisting of Takarazuka Mound No. 1 and Takarazuka Mound No. 2.
A relaxing space where you can experience and learn about ancient history and culture, and spend a rich time in a historical and cultural environment. You can see Ise Bay in the distance, the ruins of Matsuzaka Castle, the city area, and the mountain range of Mt. Horisaka. (Nationally designated historic site)
