I'm SAI, a family camper who lives in Mie Prefecture and has been camping for 7 years.

If you want to go camping in Mie Prefecture, this is the place! ️

Enjoy luxurious seafood and seafood bowls on a short trip and a high-quality campsite with a beautiful private beach nearby🏕️

What is Shima Auto Campsite? ?

Where is it?

ShimaCity located in the south of Mie Prefecture, is an area surrounded by the sea and mountains, with the entire city included in Ise-Shima National Park. It is a region rich in nature and blessed with fresh seafood such as spiny lobster and oysters. It is about an hour's drive from IseCity which is famous for IseJingu.

how to access

Approximately 43km or approximately 1 hour from Ise Expressway Ise Nishi IC. Access is also possible from the Kansai area and Nagoya.

A spectacular beach (Azurihama) welcomes you

Located right next to the campsite, this spectacular beach welcomes us!

This beach is called ``Azurihama'' and is loved by local residents as a hidden beach in ShimaCity Prefecture.

Facility introduction

Asphalt and outdoor lights have been maintained, and sidewalks have been secured.

When I went up the hill, I saw a signboard. When you arrive, the staff will welcome you.

Perfect security

There is an entrance gate, and only the users are allowed to enter.

Gate is open from 8:00 to 21:00.

*Cars are not allowed in or out between 21:00 and 8:00 the next morning.

Each site

There are 4 sites: ① Auto site, ② Bungalow, ③ Camping house, and ④ Day camp.

auto site

All 46 sections are auto sites. 3 areas: pets (allowed/not allowed) and power supply (with/without).

bungalow

There are 5 buildings, 1 building has a capacity of 5 people, a size of 6 tatami mats, and no pets allowed.

camping house

The new site has a total of 5 buildings. 1 building: Capacity: 4 adults, 5 parents and children, no pets allowed.

Check in Check out

Check-in is from 14:00 to 17:00, check-out is from 8:00 to 12:00

*For camping houses only, check-in is from 15:00 to 17:00, and check-out is from 8:00 to 11:00.

Early check-in/late check-out

Except during busy seasons, early check-in and late check-out are free if you make a reservation at least 10 days in advance!

Introducing tent sites

I would like to introduce the tent site where I stayed this time.

All tent sites are divided auto sites.

There are 46 sections in total, divided into individual site P, individual site A, and individual site B.

Also, there is no limit to the number of tents within the plot! Can also be used for solo group camping etc.

The size of one plot is approximately 100 m2 including the parking space. The vehicle parking space has a total length of 7.5m. The capacity for one section is 5 people.

Parking blocks are installed in the vehicle space, and bricks are embedded in the parking space to prevent you from getting stuck even in rainy weather, so you can feel safe.

The photos are of individual site A and individual site P that allow pets.

The area is divided to accommodate those who are not comfortable with pets.

・ Note ☝️ The sites where you can make reservations will change depending on whether you bring your pet or not and if you use electricity.

What about common facilities? ?

Kitchen building

Shared facilities are especially important for beginners, women, and family campers with small children! !

No condescension!! ️It was so beautiful!

The indoor kitchen has 4 water heaters and a microwave.

Toilet/garbage

The shared toilets are also kept clean. Western-style with washlet.

In addition to collecting combustible garbage, we also collect recyclable garbage (plastic bottles, aluminum cans, dry batteries, cardboard, etc.) at no additional charge.

The bath is the best!

This is one of the charms of this campsite! ️

Oh my God! You can experience the Goemon bath! ! (Application required at the reception building)

There is also a large changing area and benches, so you can safely bring your children with you.

⚫︎Available for 45 minutes. 1,600 yen

⚫︎Saturdays and busy periods: 9:00 a.m./10:30/11:30 p.m. 16:30/17:30/18:30/19:30 *On weekdays and Sundays, the last 19:30 is not available.

⚫︎There are 3 slots in the morning and 4 slots in the evening, and a total of 14 groups can use the 2 buildings.

⚫︎About 5 people can take a bath at once.

For a family of 4, it's cheap to rent a private bath for 45 minutes for 400 yen per person! ️

Administration building/store

Business hours are weekdays 9:00-18:00 / Saturdays 8:00-21:00. Staff is always available 24 hours a day during busy periods.

There is a wide variety of camping supplies, daily necessities, charcoal, firewood, cup noodles, sweets, seasonings, etc.

We also have a wide variety of rental items, including Nordisk, Snow Peak, OGAWA, and Coleman.

We also have ice cream, juice, ice and alcohol.

Firewood is sold at the administration building for 700 yen per bundle.

I stayed there!

DAY1

・12:00 Arrive after lunch

I used it in late September. On this day, the weather was still sweaty even with short sleeves.

The whole family worked together to set up the tent.

・13:00 Setup complete!

Relax with your family in the tent. The breeze blowing through is very pleasant.

・14:00 Go to the beach!

Head to Azurihama, the long-awaited scenic beach. Arrive in 5 minutes on foot.

look! ️ Extremely transparent.

Although it was late September, it was not cold.

・15:00 Snack time

I made some simple sweets using hot sandwiches.

Chocolate pie sandwich ~ Matcha flavor ~ Easy and delicious!

・15:30 Play outside

Two-seater bicycles are available for rent at the administration building.

ZZZ in a hammock. . .

・16:30 Bonfire

One of the joys of camping is the bonfire and rice.

Now, start preparing!

・18:00 Dinner

Since I came all the way to ShimaCity, I had a luxurious meal of Ise lobster.

If you order at the campsite by 16:00 on the same day, a local vendor will deliver it directly to you!

・19:30 CHILL TIME

After taking a bath, enjoy a bonfire while enjoying the pleasant breeze. I was healed.

・21:00 Cheers

After the kids go to bed, it's time for a drink with my husband.

DAY2

・7:00 Walk

Walk along the beach. The next day was another sunny and pleasant morning.

The children have been playing with their feet since morning.

・8:00 Breakfast

My son is in charge of fried eggs.

I'll enjoy having this!

・9:00 Play outside

I enjoy spending time with my children while I am being evacuated.

・11:30 Removal completed

Finally, I bought some ice cream at the store.

・12:00 Check out
