IseJingu Geku (Toyouke-daijingu)

Begin your journey to the popular spots in Ise-Shima with IseJingu.

It has been an ancient custom to visit Ise Geku from IseJingu.
Toyouke-daijingu (Geku) is dedicated to Toyouke-no-Omikami. Toyouke-no-Omikami is the deity responsible for the meals of Amaterasu-Omikami in Naiku, and is also revered as the guardian deity of food, clothing, shelter, and industry.
Passing through the torii gate, stepping on the gravel, and walking along the approach path with gentle sunlight filtering through the trees, you will be filled with a refreshing feeling.

IseJingu Naiku (Kotaijingu)

IseJingu Naiku (Kotaijingu)

It takes about 20 minutes by bus from Geku to Naiku.

Kotaijingu (Naiku) enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, the ancestor of the imperial family and revered by our people as Amaterasu-Omikami.
IseJingu, known as the ``home of the Japanese spirit'' and affectionately known as ``Oise-san,'' is a must-see spot when visiting Mie Prefecture. Walking through the vast grounds surrounded by lush greenery will refresh your soul.
I go to visit Ise-san once a year.

Okage-yokocho

Okage-yokocho is lined with local gourmet and Ise souvenir shops.

In the middle of the temple town of IseJingu Grand Shrine's inner Naiku, representative buildings of Iseji have been relocated and recreated. The charm of this region is condensed, so you can experience the taste of Mie's long-established stores, special products, history, customs, and humanity all at once!
A relaxing place where every day is as lively as a festival, but where time passes in a relaxing and nostalgic way. Enjoy eating around and buying souvenirs.

To enjoy Okage-yokocho to your heart's content, we recommend having lunch or eating around after visiting IseJingu, and then visiting the souvenir shops!

Sarutahiko-JinjaShrine

Sarutahiko-JinjaShrine

God of good luck

Sarutahiko Okami is said to be a landowner god who guided his grandson Ninigi no Mikoto to this country and devoted himself to the development and management of the country, mainly in Ise. In addition, Ota no Mikoto, a descendant of the great god, dedicated the land upstream of Isuzu when the princess Wahime no Mikoto was traveling around in search of a place to enshrine the shrine, and the Ise Shrine was built there. Our company is a shrine where its direct descendants have enshrined the ancestor god.
Okami is known as the ``God of Michihiraki'' who takes the lead in everything, guides people to the good, and opens the way for the world. This faith has spread throughout the country, and prayers are held every day to pray for direction, prevention of disasters, breaking ground, business prosperity, traffic safety, good luck, etc.

Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple)

After visiting IseJingu, head to Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple)!

Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) serve as a torii gate to worship the Okitamajinseki (spiritual stone) and the god of the sun (sunrise), located about 700 meters offshore.
The male rock is 9m high, the female rock is 4m high, and the large shimenawa rope that connects Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) 's rocks is 35m long. The Oshimenawahari Shinto ritual is held three times a year, and it is crowded with many people.
