Ise-Shima National Park Ecotourism/Nature Experience Tourist Map

掲載日:2016.11.26

The National Ecotourism Convention in Ise-Shima was held from November 20th to 22nd, 2016 as part of the 70th anniversary commemoration of the Ise-Shima National Park designation. Ise-Shima has untouched nature such as the sea, mountains, and forests, unspoiled landscapes, and much of the traditional lifestyle and culture that remains, making it suitable for ``ecotourism'' where you can experience and learn about the region's unique charms such as the natural environment, history, and culture. It's a stage. We will introduce recommended spots in the Ise-Shima area where you can experience and learn about nature and culture.

An island travel company where you can enjoy interacting with the people of Toba's remote islands (TobaCity)

Off the coast TobaCity, there are remote islands such as Toshijima, Kamishima, Sugashima, and Sakatejima, and municipal liners depart from each of them from Toba Marine Terminal. The people living on these islands have continued to live their lives in close connection with the sea. In addition to fishing experiences and programs where you can catch and observe sea creatures, the island's travel agencies offer a wide range of experience courses where you can interact with local people, such as the ``Back Alley Snack Eating Experience'' and the `` AmaHut(Amagoya)Experience,'' which are gaining popularity. Enjoy outdoor activities at sea such as sea kayaking and water bowling Shima Nature School (ShimaCity)

Ago Bay has calm waves throughout the year. You can experience marine leisure by riding a sea kayak or water bowl on the calm sea. Sea kayaking, in particular, is a slow way to travel around the rich ocean where pearls grow, weaving between large and small islands, and is extremely popular with many repeat visitors. A guide is included, so it's safe even for beginners.

There are also many other activities such as walking with a guide through historical fishing villages and beautiful seaside scenery, mountain biking, and seasonal experience programs, allowing you to fully experience Shima's nature.

Experience MinamiiseTown 's agriculture, forestry, and fishing industry in its entirety, including feeding farmed sea bream and picking mandarin oranges! Minamiise Experience World (MinamiiseTown)

MinamiiseTown to west, with the Kuroshio Current flowing right in front of it. It was dotted with many deep coves, making it an ideal base for fishing. The climate is warm, and mandarin oranges are widely cultivated on the mountain slopes.

In order to let as many people as possible experience and learn about MinamiiseTown 's excellent agriculture, forestry, and fishing, we have created an experience program with local people and are marketing it as ``Minamiise Experience World.'' Have fun talking with AmaHut(Amagoya)while eating freshly caught seafood (TobaCity / ShimaCity)

The coastal area of TobaCity and ShimaCity is the area where Ama fishing is most popular in Japan. It also has the largest number of ama divers in Japan. There are `` AmaHut(Amagoya)'' scattered throughout the area where the Ama divers change into Isogi and warm up after fishing. What Ama divers enjoy the most is making a bonfire to warm up their bodies after fishing, grilling freshly caught seafood, and chatting.

We started the `` AmaHut(Amagoya)Experience'' with the desire for tourists to enjoy that fun as well. You can experience the `` AmaHut(Amagoya)Experience'' in various locations in Toba and Shima cities, where you grill fresh seafood just caught by Ama divers right in front of your eyes and have fun talking with them. Below, we will introduce the main AmaHut(Amagoya)experience facilities.
