[Cosmos fields in tabika and ojima]

Hello, this is Koshi Iguchi.
This time, we will introduce" tabika and ojima Cosmos Fields" in KomonoTown, Mie Prefecture.

In KomonoTown and famous for Yunoyama Onsen and GozaishoRopeway, cosmos are planted in vast areas of fallow fields, protecting the fields and blooming beautifully in autumn as a tourist attraction.

This time, I would like to write about how to take beautiful pictures of ojima and tabika 's cosmos fields!

[Location/Access]

Search for "KomonoTown tabika District Cosmos" and "Cosmos ojima District" on Google Maps, or check the location from the URL below!

About 15 minutes by car from Komono Station.
Since it is located far from the station, it may be a little difficult to get there by public transportation.

[Target weather and time]

·weather

First of all, regarding the weather you are aiming for, when photographing flowers, generally aim for ``sunny'' weather.
Using light will make the cosmos pink even more beautiful!

·time

Next, regarding the time, I personally recommend "evening"!
This is because there are relatively few buildings reflected in the photo in the direction of the setting sun, making it look better as a landscape.

Also, since you can start shooting from a bright time, creating compositions becomes much easier!

First, let's start with a photo of" KomonoTown tabika District Cosmos."

The photo of "KomonoTown tabika Area Cosmos" introduced this time was taken last year in 2020.
(*Please note that the flowers have not yet fully bloomed this season.)

Please take advantage of the fact that you can take photos like this and enjoy this season's cosmos!

This season, I think the best time to see them will be around the end of October!

Last year, I was also able to photograph cosmos and late-blooming sunflowers together.
I don't know if I will be able to take pictures this year, but if they are blooming together, I'm sure it will be a wonderful photo!

When photographing cosmos and flowers, you can take wonderful photos by using wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
Now, I'd like to introduce some photos taken using both wide-angle and telephoto lenses.

First, let's introduce some examples using a wide-angle lens.

This photo uses the dynamic expression of a wide-angle lens to zoom in on the cosmos in the foreground, capturing the cosmos field and the sunset sky in one shot.

Next is an example using a telephoto lens.
The third photo from the top of this article is also a photo taken with a telephoto lens.

When using a telephoto lens, first decide on the subject.
Once you have decided on a subject, focus on that subject and take photos that highlight it.

I think it would be a good accent to use people or animals as a theme.

Next, let's talk about the "Cosmos ojima District".
This photo was taken on October 16, 2021.

I actually wanted to take the photo on a sunny day, but unfortunately it turned out to be cloudy. . .
However, there were so many cosmos blooming that it was a sight to behold, so be sure to go and see it!

The power of cosmos spreading all over the rice fields is amazing.

Many cosmos were blooming not only in this rice field but also in the surrounding rice fields.
I think you can take pretty good photos on a day with a beautiful sunset!

【summary】

Thank you for reading until the end.
I would be happy if some people read this article and want to go to the `` tabika and ojima cosmos fields.''

Since the state of emergency has been declared, it is gradually becoming easier to go out, but I think there are still many people who want to avoid crowded environments.
If you're in a cosmos field, you won't have to be that close to people, and since it's outdoors, I think the risk of infection is low, so I'm still going to have a lot of days to relax, but I went to KomonoTown to see the cosmos for a change of pace. Why not come and try it?

See you again in the next article.
