1. Why did you want to join the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force?

“Kazari”: I was obsessed with the anime “Girls & Panzer” when I was a student, and I want to actually see the tanks that appear in the anime! With this in mind, I went on a tour of a Ground Self-Defense Force camp. The Self-Defense Forces personnel who responded to me at that time were extremely kind and helpful. I originally wanted to become a Ground Self-Defense Force officer because my grandfather was a Self-Defense Force officer! I came to think so. I want to go straight to what I like and take on challenges that interest me! Because of my personality, I had already decided to take the entrance exam for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force when I was in my second or third year of college.

2. What made you start posting on YouTube?

Kazari: I studied public relations methods and graphic design at university, so I wanted to use what I learned to do public relations work for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force in the future, so when I joined the Self-Defense Forces, I also wanted to do public relations work. Unfortunately, due to a foot disease called femoral head osteonecrosis, I retired from the Self-Defense Forces at the end of my term, but I wanted to make use of my experience in the Self-Defense Forces and share it with many people. I started distributing videos on YouTube, which allows me to connect with many people outside.

In fact, I'm very happy that after I retired from the Self-Defense Forces, someone from the Self-Defense Forces' public relations department heard about my activities and asked me to do it, and I'm still involved in public relations for the Self-Defense Forces through posters and other things.

3. What made you decide to spread the word about “Self-Defense Forces Exercises”?

Mr. Kazari: When I thought about what I had experienced during my time in the Self-Defense Forces, which one would be easy for anyone to practice, I thought that the Self-Defense Forces Exercises, which I used to do every day during morning assembly, would be perfect. is.

4. You've been streaming footage of your Self-Defense Force training and solo camps, but do you ever feel like you're making use of your past experiences?

Mr. Kazari: When I attended Nihon University College of Art, I was able to acquire the ability to self-produce, the ability to create things, and the ability to present what I saw and felt to others. It's done. I feel that this kind of ability can also be used in video shooting and editing.

Of course, my experience in the Self-Defense Forces is also very useful in my current activities. Originally, I was leading a lazy life where I couldn't keep track of time and had to live at different times, but by becoming a member of the Self-Defense Forces, I became able to lead a regular life and become a person who can keep track of time. I am now able to do things that I take for granted as a member of society, such as not being late for work and following the rules properly. Also, it's brighter than before! That's what people are now saying. I think both of my experiences have been put to good use in my current entertainment activities.

5. Since you are from Mie Prefecture, please tell us about the recommended sightseeing spots and gourmet food in Mie!

Kazari: Since I'm from the northern part of the country, I can't miss GozaishoRopeway. Inside the gondola, I found an ``Antelope'', which is also the ``Beast of Mie Prefecture'', and I was so excited! When I tell my friends this story, they don't believe me (lol), but there really was an antelope on the mountainside! The frost-covered trees that can be seen in the winter, which I saw a long time ago, also left an impression on me.

I recently traveled around HigashiKishu region for work, and I felt a sense of power as I walked along the cobblestones of Kumano Kodo Iseji. Also, since I moved to Tokyo, I have felt that the water in Mie's rivers is especially clean, and whenever I come back to Mie, I always go to see the rivers to recharge my energy. The Choshi River, also known as the river, was really beautiful and I was impressed!

It's a gourmet! Yokkaichi Tonteki is recommended. Actually, I ate Kuraiken 's tonteki yesterday too (lol) Also, I've always loved Akafukumochi AkafukuIce, which is only available in summer at Akafuku!

6. If there are any places you would like to visit in Mie, please let me know.

“Kazari”: There are too many to choose from, but I would like to take photos at “Suzuka Forest Garden,” “Yokkaichi Industrial Complex,” and “Glamping Facility,” which have been talked about on SNS.

Also, I have never camped properly at a campsite in Mie, so this time, as part of the mission of the [Mie Travel YouTube Team], I will be able to go glamping in Shima for the first time, so I'm really looking forward to it!
