TobaCity, located within Ise-Shima National Park, is a port town rich in nature, surrounded by numerous islands including four remote islands. Kaito Yumin Club is a place where guides who love Toba plan tours and offer local optional tours. With the theme of nature and lifestyle, you can enjoy a variety of seasonal experiences such as lunch tours where you can enjoy the blessings of the sea, kayaking, and snorkeling.

This time, we tried out the "Uninhabited Island Kayak Tour" as a family from among the many experiences offered by Umishima Yumin Club!
“Uninhabited island” kayak tour… an exciting name!

This "Uninhabited Island Kayak Tour" is an easy tour that departs from "Ohama" near Toba Station, and can be enjoyed in conjunction with sightseeing in Toba.
There are separate changing rooms for men and women at the kayak launch and landing area, so if you need to change, you can do it here!

First of all, introduce yourself! ``Please call me Kie-chan and Iga-chan!'' said the friendly staff. First of all, while looking at photos and maps, he told us about today's course and the charm of Toba's sea! At this time of year, you can enjoy watching seaweed such as wakame and red seaweed growing in the sea! It was bright and fun, I was able to listen to various stories, and I was able to open up right away!

Make sure to put on your life jacket and you're ready!

This was the family's first time kayaking.
We were taught the key points in easy-to-understand terms, such as how to row a kayak, how to turn, how to stop, how to back up, etc.

We divided into groups: dad, 4-year-old sister, mom and 8-year-old brother, and we set off!
At first, you can practice in a place with fewer waves inside the tetrapod, so it's safe. The key is to get the two of you in sync! “Right~” “Left~” I was able to move forward successfully!

Once you get used to kayaking, the next step is to head out to sea to see the three uninhabited islands (Mitsushima) floating in Toba Bay! Apparently Mitsushima looks most beautiful from Obama!

Try floating in the soft sea, feel the wind while rowing hard...
Head to a deserted island while having fun with your family.
A family that is doing well even though it's their first time!
Toba Bay has calm waves and is suitable for beginners, and some people of three generations can enjoy it!

Arrived at the first deserted island! I went around the island ♩

When you look into the sea, the seaweed is squishy! The children were able to actually see the seaweed that they had heard about from the staff at the beginning, and the children seemed to be having fun♪

Next, let's go to the second deserted island! Depending on the tides that day, if there is an island you can land on, you can spend your time there as you like.

There are lots of beautiful seagrass on the sandy beach! You can also enjoy exciting island exploration♪

In the summer, one of the fun things to do is to kayak to a deserted island and swim in the surrounding sea! Of course there was no one around, so it felt like I was on a private beach.

If you time it right, you can see the ama divers fishing up close!
Umijima Yumin Club's tours are designed to give you a feel for the lives of Toba's residents, such as fishermen and Ama divers, so you can sometimes get a feel for the warmth of the town by interacting with the locals. Here it is♩

During the kayak tour, the guide staff always took care of me and led me, so I was able to enjoy the tour with peace of mind and peace of mind!

Don't worry if you get tired and can't row along the way! A guide will lead you. Even if you are a beginner or are not good at sports, you can easily enjoy the sea!

I was able to fully enjoy the sea of Toba for about 2 hours!
