Spectacular beach ride at Sea Horse Riding Club El Cajo! Ride a horse and walk along the beach! ?

掲載日:2020.09.04

``Sea Horse Riding Club El Caballo'' is adjacent to ``Marina kawage,'' which has an exotic atmosphere. This horse riding club, which opened in 2019, is the first horse riding club in the Tokai region where you can enjoy horseback riding while overlooking a 1200m long beach. There are courses for both those who want to get into horseback riding in earnest, as well as beginners, so anyone can easily experience horseback riding.

Take a graceful walk along the beach while riding a horse... I went to "Sea Horse Riding Club El Cajo" where you can have such an extraordinary experience! When you hear about horse riding clubs, do you think they are full-fledged? Many people may think so, but horseback riding is actually an activity that can be easily enjoyed regardless of age or physical strength.

Here at Sea Horse Riding Club El Caballo, we also offer courses that beginners can easily enjoy, such as beach ride courses and trial horse riding courses. Many people even try it out as an activity while traveling! Our staff, who are beginners in horseback riding, came to try it out!

At the end of the article, there is also a video with plenty of realism♪

"El Caballo" means "horse" in Spanish. A white horse sculpture welcomes you at the entrance♪

First, go to the clubhouse where the reception is located. The stylish European-style clubhouse has a rest area, changing rooms, and shower rooms, and is a space where you can relax.

Helmets, vests with airbags, and shoes can be rented, so just come in comfortable clothes (long pants) and don't bring anything else! Let the staff choose your size, put it on, and you're ready to go!

*If you do not have an airbag vest for beach rides, sea rides, visitor lessons, etc., an additional fee of 1,500 yen (excluding tax) will be required.

This time, we experienced the ``Beach Ride Course'' that even beginners can enjoy!
Drive to the beach right next to the clubhouse.

The long coastline in front of you is full of openness! You can enjoy the first beach trek in Mie Prefecture, or even the Tokai region, with a total length of 1,200 meters (at low tide).
The pony I took for a ride this time was Poco, 10 years old. Among El Caballo's horses, he is a gentle horse with a particularly calm personality. He approached me and let me pet his face. First of all, greetings. Nice to meet you!

"Okay! Let's ride right away!" said the instructor. At first I was a little nervous, thinking, "Already?", but they provided a step stool to make it easier for me to get on and off the horse.

A reassuring instructor who will accompany you one-on-one. He carefully taught me how to ride a horse, where to look, where to place my hands, etc., so I was able to experience it with peace of mind.

At first, it's slow...the instructor will lead you by pulling the reins, so you don't have to worry. The horses were very intelligent and were able to communicate perfectly with the instructor when giving instructions to stop and go forward.

Just take a walk along the seaside! Walking on the back of a horse and listening to the quiet sound of the waves is so elegant! I felt like I was at a resort in the perfect situation! The breeze from the sea felt nice, and even on a sunny day, it was comfortable.

During horseback riding, the horse's gait is stable, but it uses its trunk to maintain balance, so I think this can be trained. When I asked the instructor, he told me that horseback riding requires core strength, so it's also effective for dieting.
Interacting with horses will soothe your mind and be good for your health! I was able to learn about the charm of horseback riding again!

Riding a horse gives you a different view than if you normally walk on your own because of the height. Looking down on a horse's back from above is an experience unique to horseback riding.

It's great that there are courses that everyone can enjoy, depending on their level and purpose!

Also, be sure to check out the children's events held every weekend! You can enjoy the little pony ride introduced above and the palm tree ride without making a reservation ♪ Why not take a leisurely horseback ride with your child while looking at the palm trees and the sea? Of course, only adults can participate! The dates, times, locations, etc. change every week, so please check the website and SNS before going out.

After the experience, we were also shown around the stables!
Eleven horses live in El Caballo.

You can freely tour the stables and other facilities, giving you a peek into the lives of horses that you don't usually get to know about. If you are interested, please contact the reception first.

Another attraction is that the adjacent Marina kawage offers sea activities such as BBQ and SUP, which you can enjoy empty-handed while looking out at the sea and yachts, as well as lodging facilities. It's close to the city center, so you can enjoy your holidays in style, so why not try it out as well?

This was my first time riding a horse for a walk along the coast, and I was able to experience the joy of horseback riding. Walking along the coast in the warm sunshine while swaying on the back of a horse is so pleasant that you can't help but doze off. Walking with a horse, which is not a vehicle but a living thing, allows the rider to feel like they are in sync with the horse, and it is soothing and energizing!
