"GorikiMarineVillage", which is easily accessible from the city center of IseCity, is a leisure spot where you can fish, play on the shore, experience, and more! Everyone from fishing beginners to fishing enthusiasts can enjoy it, and it's also very popular with families with children! We will introduce you in detail!

"GorikiMarineVillage", which is approximately 10 minutes by car from National Route 23 in IseCity and easily accessible from the city center, is a leisure spot where you can fish, play on the shore, and experience activities.

Everyone from fishing beginners to fishing enthusiasts can enjoy it, and it's also very popular with families with children!
I went to GorikiMarineVillage to play with the family of a 10-year-old boy who loves fishing and a 2-year-old girl whose dream is to become a fisherman!

This time, we will try the most popular plan, “Kiss fishing and tempura lunch”!
Reservations must be made at least 2 business days in advance. After completing the reception, we will head to the ship! The boat pier is within sight and can be reached within a 2-3 minute walk from the reception desk.
There are restrooms along the way, so we recommend going there before boarding.

Now, let's go on a boat trip to Toba! The boat is spacious enough for up to 17 to 18 people to enjoy fishing.

It has a roof, so you can stay comfortably even on sunny days. There is also a restroom inside so you don't have to worry.

By the way, at the reception desk mentioned earlier, you will be provided with life jackets of different sizes, a cooler box to put the fish you caught, and ice. Make sure to wear a life jacket on the boat!

You can also rent fishing rods on board, so there's no need to prepare any serious equipment! You can enjoy fishing even if you don't bring your own, so it's great for beginners.

It's finally time to leave!

You can access the deck of the ship using the stairs, and we recommend viewing the scenery from the top of the ship. The wind created by the speed of the boat is cool and pleasant.

After about 25 minutes on the boat, we arrived at our first spot, off the coast of Toba Island!

They will always guide you to the best spot depending on the weather, ocean currents, and customers that day. First, the staff explained the process while showing us examples.

We'll give you detailed instructions on how to bait, how to hold and move the rod, so even if it's your first time, it's okay! My older brother, who loves fishing on a daily basis, is also listening intently.

After the explanation, we actually tried it ourselves! I'm excited to see who can catch it first.

Then, after about 5 minutes, the big brother got a hit! As you carefully wind the fishing line...

I caught a wonderful kiss!

The big kiss was so strong that I was surprised. The size is about 20 cm, and it is said that it is delicious even as sashimi. It is said that you can sometimes catch something as big as 26cm. I'll eat the smaller ones later as tempura and the larger ones as sashimi.
Place the fish you catch in the cooler box immediately.

Mom gets a kiss too! Even if it is difficult to remove the hook from the fish's mouth, you can rest assured that the staff will help you with advice.

You may also catch fish other than kisses.
Today, we will be talking about high-quality fish such as gurnard, goby, and bigeye. On another day, he even caught an octopus.

Dad caught a gurnard with a beautiful fin pattern! I also caught a small goby! If you catch any fish other than kisses, you can take them home in the same way.

Even small children who can't fish yet were able to enjoy the scenery, watch the fish they caught, and relax on the boat!

We enjoyed fishing for about 2 hours and 30 minutes in total, changing locations several times along the way, and were able to catch over 20 fish just by kissing! Everyone was overjoyed!

After fishing, you'll be full! Next time, we will try making tempura using the fish we caught earlier. The reception/barbecue rest is a spacious covered space that is comfortable even on hot summer days.

When I returned from fishing, lunch was ready for me.

Let's start by cleaning the fish we caught. The staff will carefully teach you how to cut fish, so there is no need to worry even if you have never cut fish before.
If you catch a fish other than a kiss, ask the staff for a delicious way to eat it.
They will tell you right away, ``If you try that, tempura is better!''

I removed the scales and cut off the head as instructed...I followed the tips and tricks and was able to make three very beautiful pieces!

Use the cleaned fish for sashimi and tempura. This was my brother's first time cooking tempura, but he struggled while the staff taught him how to fry it deliciously!

By the way, for tempura, we use batter mixed with seawater. By doing this, you can get a slightly salty tempura even without seasoning!

Furthermore, when you sprinkle GorikiMarineVillage original homemade salt as a finishing touch, it becomes extra delicious.

The grilled fish is served as sashimi and tempura, and the bones are also slowly fried and made into bone crackers! You can eat it without throwing away the bones, and it's packed with nutrients. The crunchy texture is irresistible. It's also great as a snack.

Once completed, we will enjoy the fish dishes we made ourselves and the barbecue!

All ingredients, seasonings, tableware and utensils are provided, and cleaning up is very easy as all you have to do is return the dishes to the sink.

The barbecue menu includes fish, meat, sausage, and grilled vegetables. I also received additional pork.

You can get unlimited refills of rice, so you can eat to your heart's content! Tea is available, and you can also buy juices from vending machines. We also have canned beer, canned chu-hi, and non-alcoholic beer.

My brother likes the kiss sashimi he catches himself. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly caught, freshly caught, and freshly caught fish!

It's also nice for families to have children's chairs, picture books, forks, and other utensils that are easy for small children to use.

By the way, you can take home any fish you can't eat without cutting it. They will also put ice in a bag, so don't forget to pick it up on your way home.

GorikiMarineVillage was a leisure spot that both adults and children, from fishing beginners to fishing enthusiasts, could enjoy!

The boat and facilities are comfortable, making it perfect even on hot days. The staff are all kind and helpful, so even first-timers can enjoy fishing and cooking!

We also offer ``goby fishing and tempura lunch'', ``Iso Experience and Lunch'' where you can enjoy playing on the shore and swimming in the Toba area, and experiences such as making salt and making dried fish, so please bring the whole family along! hey.
