Matsusaka Agricultural Park BellFarm is located near the Matsusaka Interchange. It is a popular tourist spot with beautiful gardens, a farm market selling local vegetables and fruits, restaurants, souvenir shops, and more. Surrounded by peaceful agricultural areas, the spacious grounds include three large ponds, as well as a walking course and an open space with playground equipment.

The first place we visited was the English Garden. It's open to the public free of charge, so you can enjoy a stroll freely.

The park is divided into eight themes, and you will be greeted with scenes that will make you feel as if you have wandered into a Western painting. The scenery is very pleasant, with the mountains of Matsusaka in the background.

There are about 500 roses of about 60 varieties in the garden. They begin to bloom in May, and from mid-to-late May is the most spectacular season of the year, and many people visit. In autumn, the beauty of the flower colors unique to autumn is attractive.

From late March, various flowering trees and bulbous plants begin to bloom, and from early to mid-April, approximately 4,800 tulips will be in full bloom. From late April to early May, three types of wisteria bloom: purple, white, and pink, and are as beautiful as flower hairpins.

The indoor garden, which is mainly planted with subtropical plants, is a large glass house. There are ``water lilies'' by the waterside where the fountain is located, and you can enjoy the flowers from May to November.

"Garden Cafe Loubel" is located at the entrance of the English Garden. You can see greenery from the window and it is a relaxing space.

I ordered the "Vegetable Sommelier's Handmade Lunch" (1,050 yen), which is only available on weekdays. A healthy menu made with fresh vegetables procured at BellFarm Farm Farmers' Market inside the park. With the theme of local production for local consumption, they were particular about using ingredients produced in Mie Prefecture, and the menu was hearty and satisfying even for men.

The cafe's sweets are also popular, and the most popular is the handmade gelato, where you can choose your favorite flavor from about 10 different types. The smiling staff at the shop are holding gelato made with grilled sweet potatoes and purple sweet potatoes (medium size 340 yen). The rich milk flavor and the sweetness of the odor were exquisite.

The next place we visited was the BellFarm Farm Farmers' Market, which sells vegetables, fruits, processed foods, etc. produced directly from MatsusakaCity and nearby cities.

The atmosphere inside the store, filled with rows of products, is exactly like a market!

Cabbage grown right near BellFarm. The cabbage on the right called ``Yoshiki'' is a new variety that is not available on the market. When I tried it, I was surprised to find that it had less of the grassy smell typical of cabbage, and had a strong sweetness that tasted like fruit!

This is a turnip variety called "Swan." It has no bitterness, is very fresh, and has a fruit-like sweetness. The pickles are also excellent! It tastes even better when heated!

At the sales floor was Yuko Nakai (left), a vegetable sommelier who closely exchanges information with farmers, and was consulting with customers about vegetables. This is a great resource for people who want to know more about vegetables. Yoshihisa Numata (right), a farmer who produces Yoshiki and Swan, used to work for a company, but started farming seven years ago.

Inside the store is ``Beni Kobo Kiyoko Sugiyama's store''. You can purchase a variety of side dishes that will enrich your dining experience, including rice balls made by Mr. Sugiyama using red cabbage, a traditional vegetable from MatsusakaCity. On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Fridays from 1:00 p.m., the Mie Gaiwan Fisheries Cooperative also opens a stall. They sell fresh seafood and are always very successful, selling out in about an hour.

There is a souvenir shop called ``Matsusaka Shokai'' in the ``Takumi-no-Yakata'' building across from the agricultural market.

The store is stocked with a variety of souvenirs, including world-class Matsusaka beef, side dishes, and specialty items!

When you think of Matsusaka, you think of Matsusaka beef. This corner was the most popular of the store, and in addition to meat, processed foods such as croquettes and minced meat cutlets were also sold one after another.

Matsusaka's traditional craft "Matsuzaka Momen" is popular among tourists. Bags and accessories made from indigo-dyed fabric are so stylish.

Matsusaka cotton cat strap (702 yen). I couldn't help but buy two because they were so cute♪

At the Wagyu beef order buffet "Mow & Buu", you can enjoy high-quality Kuroge Wagyu beef, branded beef "Tokachi Young Beef" raised using a unique production method, and prefecture brand pork, along with plenty of fresh vegetables. can.

After satisfying your appetite and desire for shopping, take a stroll along the promenade within the premises. There were three ponds, and waterfowl were swimming gracefully along the water's edge.

There is also a farm on the premises, and events such as sweet potato harvesting are held in the fall.

Rice planting experience at "Bell Festa" held every Golden Week. Matsusaka Agricultural Park BellFarm also offers agricultural experiences and classes such as rice harvesting, potato planting, and making sweets using seasonal fruits. Be sure to visit this spot packed with Mie's charms such as food, nature, and souvenirs!
