RedHilForestofHisa spring satoyama where about 20 varieties of cherry blossoms bloom.
Cherry blossoms are loved by many people in spring.
At Akatsuka Botanical Garden's satoyama "Red Hill Heather Forest," about 20 varieties are planted throughout the park.
From early blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms to Someiyoshino cherry trees, double blooming shogetsu and kanzan, etc.
They bloom one after another from mid-March to April.
You can also see unusual cherry blossoms such as the turmeric cherry tree, which has yellow petals, and the pale green goikou cherry tree.
In April, rhododendrons bloom in various parts of Red Hill, and you can enjoy the co-existence of cherry blossoms and rhododendrons.
From the end of April, wisteria flowers begin to bloom, and in mid-May, the rose garden has over 1,500 roses of over 400 varieties.
At Akatsuka Botanical Garden's proud garden, you can enjoy a flower relay that starts with weeping plum blossoms (Suzuka Forest Garden) in February and continues through summer with cherry blossoms, rhododendrons (Rhododendron Garden), wisteria, roses, hydrangeas (Hydrangea Garden), and water lilies. Please enjoy.
