Hanamatsuri Busshoe Flower Festival
Date: April 8th every year
It is a fun event to celebrate the birth of Buddha.
It is called the Flower Festival because Buddha was born in Lumbini Flower Garden in Nepal 2,500 years ago.
In front of the main hall, the Buddha of Birth is enshrined in the Hanamido hall surrounded by flowers handmade by the children of Sakura Kindergarten on the grounds, flowers are placed, and sweet tea is poured over it to pray for the health of the children and the safety of their families.
