Midsummer Festival Geshisai

The area around Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) has long been known as Seiyoshi Beach, and has been revered as a purification beach where people bathed in the ocean waters before visiting Ise Shrine to purify their mind and body.
On the day of the summer solstice, when the sun's energy is at its peak, we perform purification while bathing in the morning sun that shines between Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple).
If the weather is good, you can see the sunrise over the back of Mt. Fuji, and the feeling is indescribable.
(Due to the circumstances of the funeral hall, we will close applications for the requiem on the 20th and the purification service on the 21st once the capacity is reached.
Please note that applications can only be made by visiting our office or by telephone.

Approximately 15 minutes on foot from JR Sangu Line "FutamiuraBeach Station"
Approximately 20 minutes by bus bound for Toba from JR/Kintetsu IseCity Station or Kintetsu Ujiyamada Station, get off at Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Higashiguchi, and walk 5 minutes.
