Original Tenmusu Senju (TsuCity) "Meifutsu Tenmusu"

Many people think that Tenmusu is a Nagoya specialty that originated in Nagoya, but it originated from Senju in TsuCity, Mie Prefecture.
Yone Mizutani, who ran a tempura set meal restaurant, had no time to make lunch, so she wanted her husband to eat something nutritious, so she made the first tempura by putting scraps of prawn tempura into rice balls. After that, through trial and error, he developed a unique flavoring method and began offering it as a product.
Because it is a simple dish, we are particular about using high-quality ingredients such as rice, shrimp, and oil for frying. Ganso Tenmusu no Senju, which has many regular customers who have continued to come back for the same taste since the first generation, can order ``Meifutsu Tenmusu'' from 5 pieces (750 yen). You can add one item (150 yen).

Hachimitsu-Man Honpo (TsuCity) “Hachimitsu-Man” “Honey Ice”

This snack, nicknamed ``Hachiman'' by TsuCity, was created in 1955 by the first generation owner of a beekeeping business to ``make honey more accessible.''
When you bite into a freshly baked "Hachimitsu-Man" created by a craftsman who knows everything about the deliciousness of honey, the skin is crispy, the inside has a smooth strained bean paste, and the flavor of honey spreads in your mouth. Because of the sweetness of honey, it's not overpowering, and you'll never get tired of it, so you can eat as many pieces as you want. The low price of 60 yen per piece is also attractive.
It has been busy with local regulars since the opening time, with everyone buying 20 or 30 items in bulk.
You can enjoy it with tea at the restaurant's dining space. In the summer, you can also enjoy ice filled with honey.
Inheriting the first generation's belief of ``good food even if it's cheap,'' the third generation continues to preserve the taste.

The balance between the moist and chewy dough with the gentle sweetness of honey and the filling inside is exquisite. You can always enjoy 8 types of bean paste and seasonal bean paste. The size is bite-sized, so it's perfect for eating while walking.

`` Butasute'' has been selling Ise beef since its founding in order to protect Ise beef, which has a longer history than Matsusaka beef and has softer, higher-quality meat.
As a long-established store that is particular about its meat, there is always a line at Okage-yokocho store. What you're looking for are the carefully selected "croquettes (100 yen)" and "minced cutlet (150 yen)"
The small croquettes, which can be eaten as snacks, are coated with lard, so you can eat as many as you want without being greasy.
The ``minced cutlet'' is made with 100% rough minced beef and is fried in a slightly hard batter that makes a crunchy sound, which is different from croquettes, to trap the meat juices. You can enjoy the taste of the meat directly and it is a satisfying meal. Full marks.
A recent employee favorite is ``Kushikatsu (120 yen)'', which is the perfect snack to go with seasonal beer.
Enjoy a stroll through Okage-yokocho while tasting and comparing the three types.

The floor, tables, and even the lighting inside the shop are made of bamboo, and the lighting and chopstick holders are handmade by the owner. There is also a Machikado Museum, which displays Matsusaka's crafts, bamboo crafts, and various handmade items.
What you can enjoy at "Chikuteru Doan" is "Matsugyuyaki", which was perfected through trial and error in order to create a new specialty of Matsusaka that is both visually impressive and surprising to eat. When you hear the name alone, you might think, "Yakiniku??", but it's a snack shaped like Matsusaka beef that can be easily eaten like taiyaki or oban-yaki. What's inside is ``Matsusaka beef shigureni (parent beef 300 yen, veal 160 yen)''. The not-too-sweet skin is packed with so much Matsusaka beef shigureni that you might think it could be a light snack. We also have ``Anko'' which uses standard domestic red beans, and ``Seasonal Matsugyu Yaki'' (Oya beef 150 yen, veal 80 yen) where you can enjoy different flavors depending on the season. The veal is bite-sized, so it is recommended for those who want to try different flavors.

Cafe Mori (IseCity) "Mori's special spaghetti" "Mixed juice"

In 1970, the founder devised ``Mori Special Spaghetti (550 yen)'' to spread the Neapolitan that was popular at the time to Ise.
The details are a trade secret, but Neapolitan flavored with original ketchup made from a unique combination of various ingredients is placed on a hot iron plate and beaten egg is poured over it. Cafe Mori is particular about using Nanbu Tekki iron plates.
``Mori Special Spaghetti'', which is served so hot that the eggs make a simmering sound, is a dish that continues to be loved by locals and is nicknamed ``Mori Spa.'' The homemade "mixed juice" (300 yen) is also recommended. The juices are fresh and have a gentle sweetness from the fruit, as they are made to order.
At the time of its founding, there were many teppan spaghetti restaurants, but Kissa Mori is the only one that still offers the same flavor as before. People who were high school students at the time of its founding and used to frequent the restaurant often come here with their children seeking a sense of nostalgia.
The atmosphere of the shop has remained the same since then, and it is always a busy place for locals to relax.

Matsumoto no Rairaiken (YokkaichiCity) “Tonteki(PorkSteak)set meal”

The owner, who trained at the main store for 10 years, opened a store here in 1978 at the recommendation of the original owner.
Believing in the words of the owner of the original store, who said, ``It should prosper in 10 years,'' he has continued to protect the original taste steadily and Tonteki(PorkSteak), and now Daitonki is known throughout the country as ``Matsumoto's coming here.'' By the time you are done.
250g serving of high quality pork shoulder loin from Mie Prefecture. In order to provide the best quality products, they are very particular about only making one to four servings of large tonteki. In order not to waste any ingredients, we are constantly researching the remaining ingredients so that you can enjoy different flavors from Tonteki(PorkSteak), such as ``Komakiri-yaki'' and ``Shio-teki.''
To preserve the quality of the garlic flavor, we use raw garlic with the skin on. It goes perfectly with the lard, and when you stuff your mouth with the pork, which has been marinated in a nice sauce and the garlic has been baked to a soft, sweet flavor, you'll be filled with energy. Made with high-quality pork and lard, it's light and not overpowering. Both my great-grandpa and my great-grandma eat a generous amount of garlic once a week.
I'm also happy to say that you can get unlimited refills of the rice (pickles), cabbage, and tonjiru soup.

Furusato Aji Kobo Agri (TamakiTown) "Agri-yaki", "Mochi Kimchi", "Seasonal Soft"

``Furusato Aji Kobo Agri'' was established in 1997 by a local pig farmers' association who wanted to sell the pigs they raised with love.
The takoyaki-like snack that you can eat here is ``Agri-yaki''. He originally thought of running a takoyaki stall, but he wondered if it would be okay for farmers in areas with no sea to sell seafood directly from the sea. With this in mind, I decided to include Tamaki pork, a local specialty. We started by making the soup stock to create a batter that would go well with the pork. ``Agri-yaki'' was created after having the takoyaki grilled at a takoyaki restaurant in Osaka and then repeatedly tasting it, and the authentic takoyaki artisans agree, ``This is delicious!''
By adjusting the feed mix according to the growth condition, the Tamaki pigs are raised to be healthy and have no odor and are very juicy. The sweetness of the pork and the richness of the soup stock create a perfect balance, allowing you to enjoy the taste of the ingredients. Try eating it without the sauce first.
A new companion to Agri-yaki, ``Mochi Kimchi (set of 8)'' made with rice cakes made using local Tamaki rice, is also available. Chewy rice cake and fluffy dough. Even though it uses the same dough as Agri-yaki, it has a completely different texture.
In addition, there are soft serve ice creams that can be enjoyed with sauces made with fruits from Tamaki, and poke cutlets made with Tamaki pork.
At Aji Kobo, you can try your hand at making ham, sausages, bread, etc., and at Furusato Aji Kobo Agri, you can enjoy a variety of scenery depending on the season, such as cherry blossoms in spring and sunflowers in summer.Next door is a town-run hot spring (500 yen). There are many, so stop by and take a look during your journey.
