Explaining Illumination 2022-2023!

Introducing the popular areas of "Nabananosato Illumination" which will be held from October 22, 2022 to May 31, 2023! New areas will also be explained in detail.

Theme area “Ship in the Sky” new!

The theme area, which is the main venue, develops illuminations with new themes every year.

This year's theme is "Ship in the Sky," and new illuminations that dynamically create a fantastic world of light set on a huge sailing ship and the ocean are now available!

The giant sailing ship measures approximately 35m in height, 30m in width, and 40m in depth, making it a three-dimensional illumination that changes its appearance depending on the direction you look at it.

The photo above is the view from the second floor of the observation deck, where you can see the entire sailing ship and ocean.

The scenes unfold in time with the powerful BGM, and there are a series of moving scenes that exceed your imagination, such as life, fire, space, and happiness.

The photo above is the "Sea of Happiness" scene, and the Seven Lucky Gods appear on a treasure ship! It was a performance that you could benefit from just by watching it♪

There is also a scene where a giant whale appears, and the great point is that the realistic sea spray is expressed using LED light!

Please check the other scenes locally. It will be performed for about 7 minutes.

200m tunnel of light “Hana Corridor”

What made Nabananosato Illumination instantly famous was the 200m long tunnel of light.

The fantastic space created by the latest LED lights shaped like ``cute flower petals'' and providing ``warm light'' is one of the most popular spots in Nabananosato.

In 2013, it was featured in the best-selling series ``I want to visit before I die! The world's spectacular views'' (written by the scenic view producer Shiho)!

If there is a puddle of water on the ground, you can even take reflection photos like this!

(The light reflects off the puddle, and it looks like the light is spreading to your feet.)

This "tunnel of light" is popular among camera and photography enthusiasts, so let's all try to take a photogenic photo♪

*The photo is an entry for the 47th Mie Tourism Photo Contest.

100m tunnel of light “Momiji” new!

The second ``Autumn Leaves'' of the ``Tunnel of Light'' in the park is a tunnel wrapped in a garland (flower decoration) in the shape of maple leaves.

You can enjoy a different atmosphere from the bright and glittering first tunnel, and here is the production ↓

The four seasons, from fresh green to autumn leaves, are expressed with LED lights, and the sight of the tunnel changing color from green to red is a sight to behold!

By the way, last year it was ``Plum'', so even those who went last year will have a new impression.

Water illumination “Taiga of Light”

``Taiga of Light'' is the largest water illumination in Japan.

The motif is the three rivers of Kiso, and the key point is the production with changes in movement, such as the flow of a waterfall. Since it is so vast, you can enjoy the illuminations from various angles depending on where you look!

If you like photography, it will be fun to look for your own photo spots while viewing the exhibits.

Millennium Garden “Sea of Light” new!

This is an area where a 1,000-year-old olive tree is brightly lit up, and the area around the tree is filled with sparkles.

This year, a new illumination tree with a height of 3m to 5m in warm shades of champagne gold and green has been introduced, representing the forest at the foot of the Kiso mountains.

This is an area where you can feel as if you are walking in the air♪

Fantastic sea of clouds “murdered murmurings” new!

Starting this year, a fantastical mist will appear along the approximately 200m babbling stream from the Irimura Gate of Nabananosato Sato to Sato no Yu.

The fog gradually thickens and gradually changes its appearance, and the sight of a sea of clouds spreading out in front of you is breathtaking!

Using the latest technology, fine water particles of approximately 10 to 20 microns are uniformly generated, similar to fog and clouds, making it an area where you can see a realistic sea of clouds up close.

The twin trees, which have been chosen as the best Christmas trees in Japan, and the mist work together beautifully, creating a fantastical snow-covered world.

A large greenhouse that looks like the world of a painting, Begonia Garden

Lastly, we will introduce the popular spot in the park that can be enjoyed together with the illuminations, ``Begonia Garden''!

The Begonia Garden is a large greenhouse with 4 buildings filled with 12,000 gorgeous flowers of hundreds of species from all over the world, including large begonias.

The beauty of begonia flowers, as if stepping into a painting, is sure to captivate the viewer. There is also a space for commemorative photos with the blooming flowers in the background!

*A separate admission fee is required for the Begonia Garden.

Adult 1,000 yen
Elementary and junior high school students 700 yen
Infant (3 years old and over) 200 yen

Nabananosato powerful every year.
