Ride the Kintetsu sightseeing train “Tsudoi” from Ise to Shima!

掲載日:2013.09.30

From Saturday, October 5, 2013, the sightseeing train "Tsui" will debut from IseCity Station to Kashijima Station to coincide with ShikinenSengu of IseJingu Grand Shrine! The train has a colorful and fun exterior and interior. Riding on it will make your trip to Ise-Shima even more enjoyable.

I took a ride on the sightseeing train “Tsui” which will start operating from October 5th (Saturday)! Normally, the service runs between IseCity Station and Kashijima Station, but this time we will be offering a special test ride between Kintetsu Nagoya Station and Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station.

I had seen "Tsui" in the illustrations, but when I saw the real thing, it was as colorful as I expected (?). There were many people pointing their cameras at the train while it was stopped at the station.

The illustrations on the train depict creatures such as large spiny lobsters, sea breams, and penguins, as well as the nature of Ise-Shima, the Ise IseJingu, and the facilities of ShimaSpainVillage. The exterior is sure to catch people's attention.

The first car is ``Kaze no Asobiba.'' Colorful as the picture! The interior design is sure to please children. It's perfect for parents and children to ride while admiring the scenery.

There is a slit in the door that allows fresh air to blow through the inside of the car. It was so comfortable that I could feel the wind outside when I rode! Please be careful not to touch it as it is dangerous.

Half of the first car is used as a seating area. All seats face outward so you can enjoy the view. In the back of the space separated by the glass shown in the photo is a ``wind play area.''

This vehicle has a toilet, but the illustrations inside the toilet are also a little playful... Please take a ride and check it out.

This is the second event space. This is an event space equipped with a bar counter and tables, and where local specialties are sold. We hold events mainly on Saturdays and holidays. During the ride, ShimaCity 's special products such as mushrooms and sea lettuce were on sale.

On this day, we served “Ise shrimp soup”! Other activities such as ``Oyster soup'' and ``Aosa soup'' will also be held. Beer, soft drinks, and snacks will also be sold at the bar counter.

*Please check the homepage http://www.kintetsu.co.jp/senden/tsudoi/ for the schedule of sales and events in the event space.

This will be the seating area for the third car. The seats also face outside, so you can enjoy the view. There are tables, so you can buy drinks at the bar counter and relax while enjoying the view.

And these are recommended for children! "Children's driver's seat" You can enjoy driving the train just like the real thing while looking at the scenery in front of the train (of course, a real train driver is moving the train). When you operate the lever, the display moves in conjunction with it, and the meters and indicator lights light up.

Uniforms and hats are also available for children, so taking a commemorative photo will be a great memory! By the way, YokkaichiCity 's character, Konyudo-kun, was driving on this day.
During the test drive, I was able to enjoy the inside of the car, and the time passed quickly. If you go to Ise, be sure to take the Tsudoi train and make your way to Shima.

It is still in operation in 2015. Please check the URL below for operating dates.

About 2 minutes walk from Kashijima Station in ShimaCity, where IseShimaSummit will be held. Popular as an aquarium where sunfish swim! There are feeding demonstrations by Ama divers, and you can touch cute penguins at this aquarium, where you can not only see but also touch and learn about living creatures. The whole family can enjoy it. About 2,500 fish of about 50 different species, including sharks and yellowtail, swim in Shima Marine Land's largest migratory tank. The ancient aquarium, which introduces the history of the earth and life through fossils, is a must-see. A cylindrical aquarium is set up in the jellyfish corner, and the lighting creates a fantastic underwater world. Penguin touch and behind-the-scenes aquarium exploration are available from time to time (please inquire). The "Doctor Fish/Garalfa" experience, which is said to eat dead skin cells, is also popular.
