Nabananosato Sato Firefly Festival will be held from mid-May to late June. The magical light of fireflies enlivens the village, heralding the arrival of early summer.

On Nabananosato days, you can see the mysterious light dance of about 1,000 fireflies a day on the approximately 200-meter-long ``Seseragi'' from the area in front of Nabana no Sato's ``Irimura Gate'' to ``Sato no Yu.'' Masu.

In the village, the lights around the 'Seseragi' where fireflies dance are dimmed,

You can enjoy the perfect environment to watch fireflies flying around in the darkness.
The best time to see fireflies is from around 8pm when it gets dark!
Please feel free to come and visit us after dinner or on your way home from work.

Illumination period (late October to end of May): Take the Mie Kotsu Access Bus from Kintetsu Nagoya Line “nagashima Station” for about 10 minutes and get off at “Nabananosato”
*During the illumination period, Mie Kotsu buses operate from nagashima Station (*Kuwana bus is suspended)
Normal period (excluding illumination period): Take the Mie Kotsu bus from JR Kansai Main Line/Kintetsu Nagoya Line "Kuwana Station" for about 10 minutes and get off at "Nabananosato"
