With the corporate philosophy of "invigorating customers through meat dishes," Tomisu Meat operates a yakiniku restaurant, a meat and steak restaurant called "Tomisutei," and a butcher shop at Aeon Yokkaichi Kita.
We visited "Tomis Meat", which is often mentioned as a "meat place" in KawagoeTown, and learned about its varied menu, its commitment to meat, and its ability to offer high-quality yet value-for-money menus. We asked you to tell us why.

Tomis Meat is conveniently located along National Route 1, 10 minutes by car from Mie Kawagoe IC on the Isewangan Expressway, and just over 5 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Kawagoe-Tomisuhara Station.

There is also a large parking lot that can accommodate approximately 100 cars, including Tomisu-tei located directly across the street.

There is also a space where tour buses can be parked, and during peak hours there is a steady stream of people.

Table seats on the first floor can accommodate approximately 50 people. The large windows create a bright and open atmosphere.

You can see small groups of friends, acquaintances, and families grilling meat in a friendly atmosphere.

Since it is a popular restaurant, it often fills up quickly, but there are many people who want to eat even if they have to wait, and the restaurant is crowded almost every day.

From the table seat by the window, you can enjoy your meal in an elegant mood while looking out at the well-maintained Japanese garden.

You can also see a school of carp swimming leisurely in the pond.

It is also popular with visitors from overseas, and you can often see them actively pressing the shutter on their cameras.

Beef tongue shabu-shabu set (4,800 yen for 2 people/excluding tax *reservation required). Shabu-shabu is possible because it is so fresh that it can even be eaten raw.

The tongue we use is of course domestic beef. When you lightly blanch the meat and put it in your mouth, you can feel the meat sliding across your tongue.

There are two types of sauce: ponzu sauce and sesame sauce. It also comes with bibimbap and shime udon noodles.

The ``Yakiniku Tokutoku A Set'' (4,200 yen for 2 people, excluding tax) includes short ribs, pork belly, offal, morning chicken thighs, chicken breast, and rice.

A popular set where you can enjoy a variety of meats such as beef, pork, and chicken. The price is also kept reasonable considering the volume.

Another set menu that is easy to order is the ``Yakiniku Toku A Mori'' (5,200 yen for 2 people, excluding tax), which comes with loin, short ribs, offal, liver, senmai, and rice.

The ``Yaki-shabu course'' (5,000 yen/tax excluded for 2 people) is available, which includes beef loin, beef thigh, pork loin, chicken breast, and rice.

There's plenty of everything, but if you need a little more, you can of course add a la carte items.

3 servings of domestic beef loin and ribs (1,200 yen for 1 serving of loin, 1,150 yen for 1 serving of ribs/both tax excluded).

Loin and short ribs compete for the most popular cuts of yakiniku. You can also order various other parts such as tongue, sagari, offal, mino, liver, heart, and senmai.

"Melting Roast Beef" (900 yen/excluding tax). Premium menu limited to 20 meals per day.

Roast beef with marbling looks beautiful, is healthy, and is a popular dish among women.

``At first, we were selling it for around 1,200 yen, but we lowered the price in exchange for making it limited edition.'' It's a service item where the more you sell, the more you lose money, so those who were able to eat it were lucky!

As soon as you put it in your mouth, you'll understand the meaning behind the word "melting" in the name.

It goes in so easily that you don't even have to chew...it might be the first time you've experienced a texture like this.

You can enjoy a slightly moving experience.

When I asked him what parts he used, he said it was a trade secret.

It's a special dish that only experts in meat can produce, and it takes three days to prepare it before it's delivered to the store.

"Salt motsu nabe" (3,800 yen for 2 people/excluding tax *reservation required) is also popular among women. Comes with mini bibimbap.

The plump domestic beef offal has a slightly sweet taste that shows how fresh it is, and once you eat it, you'll be addicted to it.

Don't miss the delicious ramen that combines the flavor of offal and the richness of vegetables into the soup!

We also have counter seats for couples and single customers, which is something you don't often see at Yakiniku restaurants.

Even solo female customers can feel safe here.

You can feel free to visit this restaurant whenever you feel like eating yakiniku!

There is also a large hall on the second floor that can accommodate parties of all sizes.

It can accommodate around 40 people at a time, and can also be partitioned to create a private space depending on the number of people.

There is also a tatami room opposite the large hall, so families with small children can enjoy a relaxing meal without worrying about their surroundings.

The in-store meat corner sells only domestic beef, and you can easily purchase various cuts of meat for yakiniku and sukiyaki.

If you are looking for a mid-year gift, a year-end gift, or a gift for the year-end and New Year holidays, we can accommodate your budget, and we can also ship nationwide using cool delivery.

In addition, the popular roast beef can be sliced to your desired thickness, and you can also buy it in blocks.

Not only can you eat Matsusaka beef from Mie Prefecture at the store, but we also sell it.

Matsusaka beef is known for its mellowness produced by its fine marbling (fat) and is so tender that it can be cut with chopsticks, and is said to be a "work of meat art."

Tomis Meat consistently provides Matsusaka beef in the Hokusei region of Mie Prefecture.

A carcass cutting factory attached to the store.

The company president carefully selects high-quality carcasses, which are then cut into pieces at our own factory under strict sanitary controls, and then served as dishes or meat.

The cut meat is delivered immediately from the factory to the store, so you can always enjoy fresh and reasonably priced meat.

Carcass is meat with bones still attached. Grades such as yield and meat quality are determined based on this carcass.

Meat color, degree of marbling, fineness of texture, gloss of fat, etc. are carefully checked.

The carcass is usually stored in a cool place for a period of time. This is said to improve the taste of the meat.

The cut meat is blanched and quickly packaged using a vacuum packing machine.

This prevents oxidation and spoilage and maintains freshness and flavor.

Tomis Meat's meat is not only used in its own stores, but also sold to other restaurants and restaurants, and is widely used as school lunch ingredients at elementary schools, kindergartens, and nursery schools in the local KawagoeTown and AsahiTown towns.

"Koshihikari Specially Selected Rice 5kg" (2,000 yen/excluding tax).

The rice served in the restaurant is made with Koshihikari rice harvested locally in Yokkaichi.

It has been certified by the Mie Prefecture Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Support Center as a ``Mie safe food that is friendly to people and nature,'' and can be purchased at stores.

At Tomisutei, located across the street from Tomisu Meat, you can enjoy a variety of menu items at reasonable prices, including Matsusaka beef and top-quality domestic beef steaks, as well as various hamburgers and fried shrimp.

In addition, hearty lunches and take-out bento boxes that are prepared to order are also gaining popularity.

Tomis Meat's origins were as a butcher shop founded in 1971. Approximately 50 years later, we only handle domestic beef, and by purchasing whole cows and cutting them at our own cutting factory, we have achieved high quality meat and low prices.

In addition to actively handling ingredients from Mie Prefecture, such as Matsusaka beef and Koshihikari rice grown in Yokkaichi, we are also strongly involved with the local community through food, such as using ingredients for school lunches for children.

You can eat it to your heart's content, or give it as a gift to your loved ones. It was a day where I felt the bottomless power that “meat” can provide.
