"KameyamaMisoYakiUdon" is a popular local gourmet dish in Kameyama. Do you know the original way to eat it? We learned about this traditional way of eating, which you may not know about, at Kawamori Shokudo, a popular restaurant in Sekijuku!
And then there's Ko Biang, a retro Western restaurant along the old road. This restaurant has a menu that will fill you up at reasonable prices. I wonder how good the cost performance is!
Let's go and enjoy the delicious flavors of these two restaurants♪

This time, I would like to eat the local gourmet dish `` KameyamaMisoYakiUdon'' at the popular restaurant ``Kawamori Shokudo'' in KameyamaCity, and then enjoy a delicious set meal to the full at the Western restaurant ``Ko Bian''!
As I was driving around looking for Kawamori Shokudo, I noticed a building with the name of the restaurant clearly visible in large letters.

When you enter the store, you will find a spacious space. There is also tatami seating, so you can stretch your legs while eating.

As expected from the image of a restaurant, the restaurant serves handmade single-item dishes. ``Spinach Tamagoyaki'' is 250 yen (tax included), ``Salted Mackerel'' is 350 yen (tax included), and ``Simmered Mackerel'' is 350 yen (tax included), so the prices are cheap, so you'll be tempted to buy more than one dish. "Oden" is also available as a winter limited menu!

Now, I ordered today's purpose, Kameyama's specialty miso-yaki udon (550 yen/tax included).
We use a ``secret miso'' that is a blend of several carefully selected domestically produced miso, so the deep flavor fills your mouth. Its richness is very delicious!
By the way, when I was looking at the menu, I was interested in a dish called "Kameyama Yakiniku Teppan Misonabe." I asked the staff what kind of food it was.

``Kameyama Yakiniku Teppanyaki Misonabe'' is a dish with udon noodles added to the end of Teppanyaki, which is called ``Yakiniku'' in Kameyama. That's the real way to eat it!
I was told that `` KameyamaMisoYakiUdon'' became more famous because of the efforts to revitalize the town with local gourmet food. When you hear about the original style, you'll want to try it too! So, I also ordered "Kameyama Yakiniku Teppan Misonabe".
came! came! Many ingredients piled high like a tower. My heart dances with its power♪
From here, I will explain how to eat it step by step!

`` KameyamaMisoYakiUdon'' contains pork belly, cabbage, and vegetables, while ``Kameyama Yakiniku Teppan Misonabe'' also contains offal and several types of vegetables.
First, break up the tower of ingredients and mix slowly and evenly so that the vegetables and meat are evenly coated with miso. Be careful not to fall from the pot!

Stir the ingredients occasionally and bake thoroughly. Once nicely browned, enjoy the fragrant vegetables and meat grilled with miso♪
After baking, you can eat it as is or with rice. ♪However, be careful not to eat all the ingredients!

When the ingredients are running low, it's finally time for the udon noodles! The udon noodles ordered separately are placed on the iron plate, and the ingredients and udon are mixed with miso and grilled.

Stir well and once the udon is cooked, it's done! This is traditional KameyamaMisoYakiUdon! It's the perfect ending. The staff will carefully teach you how to make it!
In addition, the ``deep-fried young chicken'', which is made with special care for the base and batter, is said to be a popular dish with its crispy texture! I would like to try that too!
"Kameyama Yakiniku Teppan Misonabe 1 serving" (850 yen/tax included), udon sold separately 150 yen/tax included
*The photo shows 2 servings.

Then, I saw a secret miso (large 720 yen/tax included, small 320 yen/tax included) on sale, so I decided to buy some as a souvenir. I'm so happy that I can eat authentic "KameyamaMisoYakiUdon" at home♪

Next, we headed to Ko Biang, a Western restaurant located along the old road in Kameyama.
Here, you can get a hearty set meal at a surprisingly reasonable price, leaving you wondering, "What, this amount for this price!?" Let's go check out the rumors!

About 10 minutes by car from Kawamori Shokudo is the 3-story retro restaurant Koh Bien.
A brick wall with a lattice window frame. Although it is a Western-style building, it is a stylish building that blends into the surrounding streetscape.

The interior has the appearance of a warm Western-style restaurant, with a focus on wood. The chic interior is wonderful, and if you have tea here, you'll have an adult tea time♪

The store is well-maintained and has a clean feel. There are table seats and counter seats available, so you can choose your favorite seat to eat. It has a lot of seating, so it's easy to come and visit with your family and friends!
Now, let's order the long-awaited set meal menu!

I ordered the popular menu "Chicken cutlet set meal". This comes with rice and soup, how much do you think it costs? It's 390 yen/excluding tax! Oh, it's too cheap...!
When I took a bite of the chicken cutlet, I couldn't help but smile at the texture of the crispy batter and the flavor of the chicken♪ My chopsticks were easy to use, and I ate it all in no time.

It's still too early to be surprised! Next, I ordered the standard menu "Hamburger set meal". Expectations are high because the restaurant's signature hand-kneaded hamburger steak is made with 100% beef.
Then, this hamburger was brought to me. The rich aroma of the homemade sauce will whet your appetite.

This set also includes rice and soup for a whopping 690 yen (excluding tax)! You'll be surprised at this price and the volume is so satisfying!
Then I drank the soup from each set and thought, ``Wow!'' But it was actually miso soup. Even though it's Western food, you can enjoy Japanese flavors. Perfect for those who want to enjoy both Japanese and Western styles!

Finally, I ordered the "cake set" for dessert.
A 2-piece set of homemade chiffon cake, pudding and ice cream of your choice costs 300 yen (excluding tax). The price with a drink is 480 yen (excluding tax).
A fluffy chiffon cake made with organic Earl Gray tea. It has a refreshing and relaxing taste♪
For drinks, choose mill-ground coffee made with carefully selected dark roasted beans. The deep scent wafts through the air and makes you feel relaxed! Thank you for the meal!

There is a souvenir corner next to the cash register with homemade phone cakes and original dressings. Come to think of it, the dressing on the set salad was very light and delicious.
I wanted to try it at home, so I bought it as a souvenir.

Lastly, we took a photo of the handsome young chef Sakurai-san and his younger brother!
The restaurant is run by two brothers, with the older brother Sakurai in charge of the management and cooking, and the younger brother in charge of the cooking and the monthly ramen menu. I would definitely like to try their ramen next time!
Thank you for your wonderful time today!

Kawamori Shokudo's Kameyama Misoyaki Udon was delicious with its rich miso flavor!
I learned new knowledge about how to eat miso-yaki udon♪
And a variety of reasonably priced set meals from the Western restaurant "Ko Bian"! It was a famous restaurant that had all three features: cost performance, taste, and volume!
Both are must-see restaurants for girls who love gourmet food!
