The start of your trip to the Ise-Shima area is "Michi-no-eki Ise-Shima" located along National Route 167 in the middle of Ise-Shima National Park. Now, the fun journey begins! !

Here, you can easily check recommended spots in Shima using Shima tourist brochures and information terminals.

At the adjacent ``Ise Shima Bussankan'', Shima products are all gathered together in one place, so we had fun buying snacks and looking at souvenirs.

After enjoying swimming in the sea, we moved to our overnight accommodation. After walking down a narrow road to the seaside, we arrived at Hotel & Restaurant Makinoki, where the beautiful sea of Ago Bay spreads out in front of us. The friendly owner couple welcomed us at the hotel, which felt like a hideaway. Dinner and breakfast are served at the hotel restaurant overlooking Ago Bay.

You can enjoy the chef's original menu, which uses plenty of Ise-Shima ingredients and fuses French and Japanese cuisine. (All meals require reservations)

On the pure white terrace, you can relax while looking out at the sea, and from spring onwards, you can also enjoy a barbecue.

``The sunset from here is beautiful,'' said the owner couple. You can also watch the beautiful sunset over the sea.

On the morning of the second day, we departed from Hotel & Restaurant Makinoki while being soothed by the beautiful scenery of Ago Bay! If you come to Shima, you want to experience sea activities. So, I went to Shima Nature School. This is Ago Bay, where the waves are calm, and you can experience a variety of nature experience programs. We tried the "Ago Bay Eco Tour Sea Kayak" which is open to children aged 3 and over!

Under the guidance of a guide, we rowed our way through the beautiful sea on our own, enjoying the feeling of adventure as a family and enjoying the great outdoors!

I'm glad I was able to enjoy kayaking even if it was my first time. There are also a variety of other programs that allow you to experience the four seasons, such as water bowls and guided cycling tours.

I'm getting hungry after playing so much... For lunch, I went to ``Charcoal Grilled Eel Higashiyama Bussan'' near Ugata Station. When you arrive, the delicious smell of eel overflows outside the restaurant.

Using only eel from Mikawa Isshiki in Aichi Prefecture, the eel is grilled by a skilled chef and has an amazingly crispy exterior and fluffy interior. It is topped with a secret sweet and spicy sauce and is delicious!

``We are particular about grilling with binchotan charcoal until it reaches the most delicious state,'' says the general.

The skewered eel is turned at the perfect time, topped with a generous amount of the secret sauce, and grilled all at once, creating a fragrant eel aroma.

The children ate it all and seemed to enjoy it. Both delicious and annoying, I was able to fully enjoy the eel! There are also tatami seats, so everyone from small children to the elderly can enjoy it.

After you've had your fill, try making pearl accessories! Approximately 10 minutes by car from Charcoal-grilled Eel Higashiyama Bussan, you will arrive at Pearl Falco, a pearl shop in Ise-Shima that has been in business for 31 years.

The spacious store carries a wide variety of pearl products, from casual to formal, such as rings, necklaces, brooches, and tie pins.

Two years ago, we opened an overseas office in Singapore and started holding events in Singapore, Shanghai, etc. and providing aftercare services for customers. They hope to continue proposing a ``life with pearls'' that connects Ise-Shima and the world. With the attentiveness that only a woman can provide, we can help you choose pearls and even help you make your own original jewelry.

Let's try making accessories using pearls! The accessories I made myself became memories of my trip to Shima.
