The best season when plums, weeping plums, Kawazu cherry blossoms, and cherry blossoms are all in bloom!

At Nabananosato, we hold the Plum and Cherry Blossom Festivals, which are perfect for early spring.
Along with the beautiful flowers during the day, an "illumination" event will also be held at the same time!

In the plum garden, approximately 330 ``weeping plums'' are in full bloom, including old plum trees that are over 100 years old.
The best time to see them is usually from late February to mid-March.

■Plum garden light-up held!
This is a light-up performance that allows you to enjoy the rare plum blossoms at night.
The upper light illuminates the red and white weeping plums.
It is said that the aroma of plum blossoms is more pronounced at night.
Along with its neat flower appearance, the quaint night scene is a must-see.
This is an opportunity to enjoy the elegant fragrance.

■Kawazu cherry blossoms have been blooming day after day since early March.
It reaches its peak around mid-March and attracts attention to the quaint scene.
There are approximately 300 Kawazu cherry trees within the village. The Kawazu cherry blossom tunnel is a must-see.
It will also be lit up at night.

Illumination period (late October to end of May): Take the Mie Kotsu Access Bus from Kintetsu Nagoya Line “nagashima Station” for about 10 minutes and get off at “Nabananosato”
*During the illumination period, Mie Kotsu buses operate from nagashima Station (*Kuwana bus is suspended)
