掲載日:2022.03.22

Teisho Basara House is an inn located on a hill overlooking the beautiful scenery of Ago Bay. All guest rooms have an open-air bath, so you can spend a comfortable time as if you were in a villa. This time, we would like to introduce you to the charms of Basara House, including guest rooms with open-air baths, spacious and relaxing private open-air baths, lounges and gardens where you can relax, and delicious cuisine that incorporates plenty of Ise-Shima ingredients.

Basara Tei is a resort accommodation facility that consists of a main building with 15 guest rooms of various types, and 5 separate villas, each located on a vast site of 5,000 tsubo.

It is full of charm, including rooms with open-air baths where you can feel comfortable as if you were in a villa, spacious private open-air baths where you can relax, lounges and gardens where you can fully enjoy the rich nature such as the sea and flowers, and delicious cuisine that incorporates plenty of ingredients from Ise-Shima. It has become.

2. Spend a luxurious time in a guest room with an open-air bath

Bettei Ren no Hanare Amatsuki

Bettei Sazanami no Hanare ``Amatsuki'' is a premium suite adjacent to Ago Bay. When you look out the large windows, the beautiful and sparkling Ago Bay spreads out across your field of vision. You can immerse yourself in a mysterious and comfortable feeling as if your guest room is floating in the sea.

You can also see Ago Bay from the open-air bath in your guest room. The calm inland sea surrounded by the Rias coast calms the hearts of those who view it.

When you take a bath and look up at the ceiling, you can see the sky cut out in a circle through the skylight. It's nice to spend a relaxing night looking at the twinkling starry sky.

Ren no Hanare's bedding is supervised by a sleep improvement coordinator. The bed pads are made from horse hair, which has long been considered the highest quality bedding material in Europe, and the comforters are made from alpaca hair, which is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Enjoying a comfortable bed is one of the pleasures of staying at Ren no Hanare.

Yukai Kato: ``[Ren no Hanare Amatsuki] is a high-quality room where you can spend time as one with the rich natural scenery of Ago Bay. Gazing at the scenery in a comfortable silence will calm your mind.''

Villa Nautical Separation Sho's Crown

Villa "Kairi no Hanare" is a villa-type guest room located on a small hill within the premises, overlooking Ago Bay. The rooms are over 100 m² in size with high ceilings, spacious terraces, and sunrooms that let in warm sunlight.

Among the ``Kari no Hanare'' rooms, ``Sho no Kanaka'' was created by the owner of Basara House with the theme of ``a guest room he would want to stay in.'' The Japanese-style tatami living room is spacious and has a relaxing design. When you stay in the room, you will feel as comfortable as relaxing in a villa.

The open-air bath at Sho-no-Kan is a pavilion-style structure decorated with cypress wood. The pleasant scent of cypress wafts through the steam.

In addition, the Sho no Kan's bath is a ``silky bath'' (hot water with a silky texture that generates fine carbon dioxide), which has a relaxing effect and a beautifying effect on the skin.

Both the bedroom and sunroom are designed with elegance and calm. You can feel comfortable no matter where you are in the room.

We also recommend relaxing on the spacious terrace while looking out at the beautiful Ago Bay.
Yukai Kato: ``When I'm relaxing on the terrace, I can hear the background music of nature, such as the rustling of the trees and the chirping of birds, and it's very comfortable.''

3. Relax in a private open-air bath

heavenly mirror

Basara House has private open-air baths, each with a different theme, and there are three free baths and one paid bath (all for guests only).

At Ten no Kagami, one of the free private open-air baths, you can relax in a spacious 100 square meter space. You can enjoy the private open-air bath to your heart's content by relaxing in the hot water or sitting on the sofa and soaking in the fresh air.

The quality of the spring water from the Ise-Shima Kakajima Onsen that gushes out from within the grounds is gentle on the skin and has heat-retaining and moisturizing effects.

The sky mirror offers a panoramic view of Ago Bay, and you can enjoy different views depending on the time of day, such as the blue sky in the daytime, the beautiful sunset, and the starry sky.

*Usage hours for "Ten no Kagami" are 15:00 - 24:00, 6:00 - 9:00 (50 minutes each time)
Reservation required (check-in/17:00)

4. You are free to spend your time however you like. Lounges and gardens scattered throughout the premises

SAZANAMI Lounge

The lounges and gardens scattered throughout the vast premises of Basara House are all attractive. Guests can use all lounges.

"SAZANAMI Lounge" is a self-service lounge facing Ago Bay where you can freely enjoy coffee, tea, alcohol, juice, etc. At dusk, you can enjoy mesmerizing scenery, including not only beautiful sunsets, but also the magical combination of sunset and deep blue sky that can be seen during the so-called magic hour.

house of time aoi

``Toki no Ie Aoi'' is a self-service lounge that features a symbolic pillar in the center. There is also a sofa where you can sit comfortably, making it a perfect place to enjoy coffee time or reading a book.

The way sunlight enters the lounge changes depending on the time of day, and when it gets dark outside, warm lights are illuminated inside the lounge. The appeal of Toki no Ie Aoi is that you can feel the passage of time.

desert garden

``Desert Garden'' is a garden characterized by a fluffy lawn. It might be a good idea to stop while strolling and take a breather while looking at the desert garden.

Kano garden

``Kano Garden'' is a garden along the seaside where Basara House's cruiser floats. You can enjoy the scenery of Ago Bay that spreads out in front of Kano Garden, feel the gentle sea breeze on your skin, and enjoy the rich nature up close.

wind sashiki

There is a pond at the foot of Kaze no Sajiki, where you can spend your time watching the carp swimming smoothly.

Yukai Kato: ``When you walk around the grounds, there are gardens and lounges with different structures, and it's fun to see a variety of scenery.''

5. Meals featuring seasonal flavors that Ise Shima is proud of

dinner

At the on-site dining restaurant ``Sakanahen,'' you can enjoy monthly and course-based dishes that incorporate Ise-Shima's signature seasonal flavors. No matter how many times you visit, you'll likely encounter new dishes.

The photo is from Kisaragi (February) of the "Basara na Holiday" plan. "Basara rice" is used for "local fish takikomi rice" cooked in an earthenware pot. Basara rice is rice grown by contracted farmers in Meiwa-cho, Taki-gun, MeiwaTown of IseJingu, with minimal use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in consideration of the health of the people who eat it. The more you bite into it, the sweeter it becomes, and the flavor of the fish and vegetable stock that is cooked with it soaks in, making it a masterpiece.

In addition, there are many other dishes that are made to bring out the flavors of carefully selected Ise-Shima ingredients. "Turnip and abalone simmered with vegetables grown in the mineral-rich land of Shima" and "Ise-Shima Bincho Kaori-yaki Kuroge Wagyu beef sandwich grilled with red" made using Basara-tei's original Ise-Shima Bincho charcoal. There are many attractive dishes such as "Mizore".

We also introduce Yayoi's (March) menu for the "Basara Holiday Plan." In March, ingredients that signal the arrival of spring are on display, such as fresh young buds from Toshijima, a remote island in Toba, clams from Kuwana, and mackerel.

breakfast

For breakfast, you can choose either Japanese or Western food.

Japanese dishes include fragrant dried fish prepared by Shima dried fish artisans and pot-cooked rice made from Basara rice, while Western dishes include salads packed with Shima vegetables, bread made from Mie Prefecture wheat aged with natural yeast, and other dishes. Enjoy local ingredients such as jam made from sugar beet and local fruits, prepared in a way that's perfect for waking up in the morning.

We also have special smoothies with high nutritional value developed jointly with pharmaceutical manufacturers, and we have devised ways to enjoy breakfast in a delicious and healthy way.

6. Cruising around Ago Bay

We also recommend enjoying an elegant walk on the sea in Ago Bay on a private cruiser exclusively for Basara House. Enjoy a 30-minute cruise on a comfortable cruiser, passing by islands of all sizes and pearl farming rafts.

It is also attractive that there are many ways to enjoy the ship, such as sunset cruising, cruising with champagne on board, and chartered private cruising.

Yukai Kato: ``When cruising, you can enjoy the beauty of Ago Bay from the sea. It's very romantic to be able to watch the sunset from a cruiser. It's going to be a special day.''

*If you would like to go cruising, please inquire at the time of reservation.
