Oe's Kakko Dance is rich in dance variations.

It was a Shinto ritual held at Kamei Shrine, which used to be in the Oe area, and was dedicated every year during the summer festival since the Kanei era, but since Kamei Shrine was combined with Yobuta Shrine, it has been held on April 20th in the spring of Yobuta Shrine. It is dedicated to the festival. It is a Shinto ritual to pray for rain and a good harvest of crops, and the dancers wear a mountain bird tail on their head, a decoration called ``Ochizui'' on their back, and dance with a kari drum hanging in front of them.
It was registered as an intangible cultural property of Mie Prefecture on January 28, 2019 (H31).
