Tsukairaku Park Spring Festival (flowering information also included) Tsukairakuenharumatsuri

Date: Friday, March 22nd to Sunday, April 14th, 2024 *Illumination will be available during the period from 18:00 to 22:00

Tsukairaku Park used to be called ``Mizansoyama'' and began when Takayuki Todo, the 11th lord of the Tsu domain, ran a villa there during the Ansei era. Currently, it is affectionately known as "Tsu Park" and is a place of relaxation for citizens.
Approximately 1,000 cherry blossom trees decorate the Japanese garden-style garden. During the spring festival, the cherry blossoms are illuminated and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. Also, from mid-April, the purple azalea flowers bloom, and the area is crowded with people every April and May.

During the event, night stalls and tea shops will be open, and about 250 paper lanterns and paper lanterns will be lit at night, making the scenery even more atmospheric.
