Ryokoji Temple
Amazawa-san Ryuko-ji Temple is famous for `` kambe 's Reclining Buddha''. It is a Zen temple belonging to the Kyoto Tofukuji school, and was built in 1423 as an imperial temple for Emperor Shoko by Mitsumasa Kitabatake, the governor of Ise Province, who appointed Saneshige Kobe, the lord of kambe kambe, as the contract magistrate. The Nirvana map will be unveiled around March 15th.
The ``shoin'' on the premises is designated as a prefectural cultural property.
