kambe Castle Shachi
In the northeast corner of kambe Castle's Ninomaru, there is kambe Castle's only double turret (currently southwest of the main gate of kambe High School), and it is one of the pair of shachi that was placed on this turret.It is located in the entrance lobby of the Cultural Center along with the single turret. It is on display.
This shachi is made of bronze and is 1.3 meters high and weighs 150 kg. On the head is written ``Honda Iyo no kami Tadatsuki, lord of Seishu kambe, Enkyo 4 (1747), 1747, built in 1747,'' and on the mouth. , and each has an inscription that reads, ``Made by Fujiwara Yasumichi, Tamura Shoemon, a foundry carpenter of Bushu Edo Kanda Sumitomo.''
The other one is unknown today.
