Hiraoi Yakushi
It was built in the 11th century at the imperial request of Emperor Shirakawa when he visited Kumano Sanzan.
The main image, the Yakushi Nyorai statue, is one of the three Kumano Buddha statues and is said to be beneficial for illnesses from the neck up. Even today, many people come to worship along the long approach to the main hall, which is lined with trees that are hundreds of years old. Masu.
