Go clamming at Kuronohama Beach in the Mukai district OwaseCity, close to the Mie Prefectural Kumano Kodo Center!

The coast is calm, so even families with small children can enjoy clam digging without worry.

If coming from Nagoya or Ise, it is about 5 minutes from Owase Kita IC on the Kisei Expressway.
If coming from Shingu or Kumano, take the Kumano-Owase Road and exit at Owase Minami IC for about 5 minutes.

*Catching of fish smaller than 2 cm is regulated by Mie Prefecture Fisheries Regulations.
