The curator created a variety of original works after receiving a gourd by chance during a walk. As the name of the museum suggests, the director exhibits many gourd works created in his own way and freely. You can also see the growth process of gourds from May to September.
As a hands-on experience, you can also paint gourds and cover them with Japanese paper (free of charge).
If you would like to take a tour or try out the experience, please be sure to make a reservation.

Therefore, there are restrictions such as reservations being required and restrictions on release dates. We ask that all visitors understand the purpose of the Machikado Museum before visiting.
