Double cherry blossoms in the flower fence [Flowers] Hanagakinoyaezakura
Event date: Mid-April to late April
A rare double cherry tree with two pistils that has a historical origin. It is located approximately 150 meters east of Hanagaki Shrine, and the Yaezakura Preservation Society holds a cherry blossom viewing party every year. Furthermore, within the precincts of Hanagaki Shrine, there is a monument with a haiku by Basho that says, ``Every mile is a descendant of Hanamori.'' Yaezakura Park has an arbor where you can spend some relaxing time.

From Iga Railway Ueno-shi Station or ida Station, transfer to the Mie Kotsu Bus Yono Line, get off at the Hanagaki Shrine bus stop, and walk for about 2 minutes.
From Meihan National Highway "Harita IC", take Prefectural Route 687 towards NabariCity for about 5 minutes.
