The Fudanzakura on the grounds of Koyasu Kannonji Temple in SuzukaCity is famous for blooming all year round. The history of this tree, which blooms even in winter due to Kannon's miraculous powers, dates back to 1,300 years ago, when the emperor composed a poem about the cherry blossoms expressing his devotion to Kannon. It is said that renga, Noh, and Japan's proud traditional craft, Ise Katagami, were born from these poems.

Koyasu Kannon-ji Temple is famous for praying for safe childbirth and children, and this amulet also contains the leaves of the perennial cherry tree. On Kannon's festival day, when the Fudanzakura memorial service is held, members of the local drumming association will dedicate a memorial service to Fukie, which is said to be the origin of Ise Katagami, and a Kanze-ryu noh song, ``Fudanzakura'', performed by Nobutaka Oda.
