[Autumn leaves] Autumn leaves at Taiunji Temple
Date: Late November to early December
This temple is located in the Hase district of Iidaka-cho MatsusakaCity, and is one of Matsusaka's most famous autumn spots, with beautiful autumn leaves. A wonderful view spreads out around the main hall and the ``Hakkaku Dosho'', which has been designated as a tangible cultural property by the prefecture.
During peak hours, the City Road Kouchou Line, which connects National Route 166 to the Taiunji Temple precincts, can be crowded, and some pilgrims enjoy walking for about 30 minutes while visiting the 33 Kannon statues dotted along the roadside.

Admission fee and parking fee are both free
From JR/Kintetsu Matsusaka Station, take the Sanko Bus bound for Sumeru for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, transfer at Mori, take the community bus for about 20 minutes, get off at Kuchisakuchi, and walk for 30 minutes *Community bus only operates on weekdays. So please be careful.
