The Hoonko ceremony of the head temple is held on the occasion of the death of the founder of the sect, which is the 16th day of January (28th day of the 11th month in the lunar calendar). It is the heaviest puja of the year, and is affectionately known as Ohanaya because it lasts for seven days and nights. The ``Hoon-ko ceremony,'' which extols the saint's virtues, is read on the first night of each day, and the ``Go-eden,'' which depicts the story of the saint's life, is displayed in the margins of the Hoon-ko ceremony. It has become customary.
