Pretty cosmos and colorful dahlias in full bloom in a vast flower plaza measuring 30,000 square meters

The annual ``Dahlia and Cosmos Festival'' was held at `` Nabananosato'' (located in Komae, KuwanaCity nagashima Prefecture), a paradise of flowers, greenery, and food.

`` Nabananosato'' is a vast oasis where rich nature and various facilities are in harmony.Seasonal events are very popular. The autumn tradition "Cosmos Dahlia" is being held.

This year as well, there will be rare types of dahlias, as well as giant dahlias over 40 centimeters long, as well as beautiful autumn cherry blossoms and cosmos that will decorate the colorful flower beds.

A vast flower bed, about 43,000 square meters of ``flower plaza'', is home to 1.5 million cosmos and about 8,000 dahlias of 200 varieties, including ``huge flowers (30 to 40 cm)'' that are as big as your face. This is an event unique to this season.

In addition, from around sunset until the park closes, ``Hana Hiroba'' is lit up, giving you a different atmosphere than during the day. (Light-up will be held until mid-October.)

■Cosmos Festival
(Approximately 1.5 million cosmos)
The cosmos at Nabananosato are planted with varieties that have large wreaths and are suitable for viewing. The cosmos Nabananosato ``Hana Hiroba'' are different from the 'cosmos' that are generally found in fallow fields, and are carefully grown to the point where they can be used as ornamental Nabananosato such as potted plants. Cosmos are planted with the image of a flower garden.

■ Dahlia Festival (approximately 200 species, 8,000 plants, and 32,000 dahlias)
``Dahlia Festival'' Dahlias bloom in bright colors such as red, yellow, purple, and orange.
The bulbs are planted around late May, and the first flowers begin to bloom in midsummer in August.
As the weather gets colder, dahlias become more and more vivid in color and grow in size.
Dahlias bloom in the order of blooming: first flower, second flower, third flower, and fourth flower, and beautiful flowers bloom as autumn deepens.
At Nabananosato we take a lot of time and effort to grow dahlias to make them big and beautiful.
Please enjoy the 'dahlias' that we have grown with care, just like growing a large chrysanthemum flower.

■Autumn Rose Festival (approximately 900 species and 5,000 roses)
Held at the "Rose Garden" attached to the Begonia Garden.
The approximately 2,300 tsubo rose garden has beautiful and gorgeous autumn-blooming roses in red, pink, and white.
You can enjoy 5,000 bottles of 900 types with their noble fragrance and beautiful appearance.
◎ A separate Begonia Garden admission fee is required to enter the rose garden.

And from October 21st, the illumination that is synonymous with Nabananosato will start.
Look forward to this year's theme area...
