Former Tokaido Kuwana Kyuto Kaido Kuwana
Kuwana is the 42nd post town on Tokaido that connects Edo to Kyoto.
The 41st inn towns, Miya and Kuwana, were the only two inn towns in Tokaido that were on the sea, and were called "Shichiri-no-watari" because of the distance of 7 ri (7 miles). Boats came and went very actively, and as an inn town, it was the second busiest after Miya-juku in Tokaido.

From JR/Kintetsu Kuwana Station, take the city loop bus and get off at Honmachi stop, 5 minutes walk.
