Nishiotemonzeki Nishiotemonato
The east and west Otemon gates connect Ueno Castle and the castle town. If you head towards the castle grounds from the Nishi-Ote Monzeki gate, you will find the Akamon gate, which was the entrance to the former Sokodo domain school at the time, and is an important symbol of the castle town.
