inochibayashi, Ipponmatsu and Ibo Jizo
A pine tree stands along the ancient road that runs south of inochibayashi and Tsuda Nursery School.
This pine tree is called ``Ise Saburo Monomi no Matsu'' and it is said that in the old days of the Genpei period, Yoshimori Ise Minauchi, a vassal of Minamoto no Yoshitsune, climbed this pine to protect his master from the attack of Yoritomo's army. Legendary pine. (However, the current Matsu is the 4th generation)
A Jizo statue is enshrined under the pine tree, and it is said that if you pray to it when you get a wart, it will heal your warts, and that it will bring you blessings.
